And please pick us last in the west as usual, we've gotten to enjoy those picks.

On a serious note, this is another thread I like to bookmark. Fire away good Sec fans ( Non SEC fans do not count, I guess except for OU and Texas since they'll be joining soon, although I doubt they know Jack shite about 2022 Sec teams)

HVent y’all finished seventh in the west like 33 percent of the time? Feel like that’s a safe bet

Not in the past decade. The past few years it's around 4th or 5th so I am going 8-4 and be 4th in the west.

BhamBlazeDog, lol don't show your optimism too much.

But one thing is sure, that defense is about to be as good as 2018 only this time our offense can score points unlike Moorheads offense. What a waste of a great D in 2018 with zero offensive support. Oh, we have a kicker this year, too lol.

Well, dummy, 7th has only been an option since 2012. Since then, they've finished: 4, 5, 2, 6, 6, 4, 7, 5, 7, and 4. That's an average of exactly 5th place. Two 7th place finishes, or 20%.

Conversely, Ole Miss has finished: 5, 6, 3, 2, 7, 6, 5, 6, 5, and 2. That's an average of 4.7 or, also, 5th place (we round here). Ole Miss has 1 7th place finish, or 10%.

Reading and math aren't that hard.

It's optimism based on fact.

Memphis - W We don't lose to Memphis at home.
@ Arizona - W Pac 12...
@ LSU - W Should have won last year.
Bowling Green - W No comment.
Texas A&M - W We own them.
Arkansas - W Got hosed last year.
@ Kentucky - W SEC East.
@ Alabama - L May upset them.
Auburn - W We spotted them 25 points last year and still won.
Georgia - W ALmost beat them with a high school team in 2020.
ETSU - W No comment.
@ Ole Miss - W They don't have a QB.

Better than expected. All depends on the OL I think. If the OL is as bad as last year sans Cross, 6-6. If they're good, 8-4 and 9-3 are in the realm of possibility.

It's weird how little MSU is being talked about this offseason. It's not that people even think they're going to be bad, they just aren't discussing MSU at all.

Ky Fan, every year you pick Miss State as automatic win. How much offense did ky have against our defense last two years? Playing @Ky is no easy task, grant you, but our defense is gonns be brutal this year along with a veteran offense.

You know what, you’re right. MSU will not be a very average team but instead will likely beat everyone and then surprise contend with Bama for the west. You should bet your paycheck on it
