The difference is Texas got waxed by UGA and lost to Florida.

And looked like shite in 2 OT wins against the worst teams in the conference.

That anyone would actually be considering that this team is worthy of a playoff to find our national champion is a joke!

Have you seen BYU play? Not a very good team really. They’d have at least 4 losses if they played in the SEC.

The same could be said for other ranked non-SEC teams. We all know ND would have more Losses if they had SEC schedule. Same goes for Indiana and Ohio State.

One of the funnier things about all of this to me is the fact that Sextons son went to ole Miss and sexton is just fricking up everything ole Miss has going for them

Money > blood for the Sextons. Sure his son approves. Another question would be is why someone who has all the money in the world would send their kid to Ole miss? Not saying Ole miss is bad but why not Usc or some shite like that?

Yet CBS has article after article trying to make a case for the U of Texas should be in. You cant hate the media enough. They are nothing but BS even in sports.

Texas will be jumped by any legit two loss team. The committee doesn’t care about anything but your losses as Alabama has found out

At this point, SEC should go back to 8 and schedule nothing but Big 10 bottom feeders as OOC to minimize any chance of losses

Michigan at 15 in a prime spot to jump up and take an at large if they can take down OSU. Somehow Texas is fricking 16th? I don’t see much of a path for them.

There is no path and we don’t deserve one. That ship sailed when sark got humiliated (as typical) by kirby and the loss to fla.

He went to high school in Memphis. A lot of his friends went to ole Miss so he followed. I don’t blame him.

Hey just kick ND, OSU, TTU, IU, etc. out and replace them with FLA, MSU, LSU, UK, etc, 'cause, you know, they'zz SEC ! SEC ! SEC.

No thinking or analysis required, just the way you'd like it and can feel safe.

According to ChatGPT: If Texas Tech had OU’s 2025 schedule, I think they’d still be good, but they’d likely slip a bit from 10–1 — maybe landing around 8–3 or 7–4.

Idk I guess we will see. I don’t think BYU is getting in unless they win the big 12 so that knocks out 1 spot. Also we are approaching a situation where the American champion might be ranked higher than the ACC champion. Doesn’t the committee technically not even have to take a single ACC team in that case?

There will be positioning for other conferences because it is all politics. SEC gets at max five teams and more likely four. Get used to it. Snakey is a moron and isn’t even doing his job except for his precious longhorns

The SEC will very likely get 5. Its a virtual lock if Michigan loses to OSU and its certain if BYU doesnt win the big 12. A Michigan loss means the big 10 gets only 3 and BYU losing the big 12 championship game means the big 12 is only getting 1.

This is good news for a team like Vandy and also both Miami and ND

MAybe who knows. But did the AI know if the QB broke up with is girl, did his momma, get sick ? Did the coach scheme the opposition ? Questions, lots of human questions an AI couldn't begin to answer. Means its output is speculation and estimation.

Here are the basics.

Does a team tackle well? do they block effectively, are they fast ?, are they smart ?, can the coaching staff make effective and rapid adjustments? Can they execute play after play ? Whats the locker room dynamic like - a bunch of arguing leaders' ?
Can an LLM AI gauge all these variables ? If so how effectively?

Tech used to be the WORST tackling team in America for decades. But lo and behold we have a D-line that usually drops people on first contact- hard. An oline that blocks, backs that can run, receivers that can catch. Do those things you can be competetive. right ? I guess a first gen AI can calculate some of that.

Say Vandy boat races Tennessee who they have at 19. A 10-2 SEC team who ends the year like that has to be in right?

The sooner we all accept that the playoffs is not about getting the best teams into the tournament, seeding them appropriately and crowning a champion, the better off we’ll be.

I actually agree with you. You can only play who is on your schedule and pound for pound the big 12 is deeper than the big 10 and ACC this year, although the big 10 is obviously better at the top.

I have watched yall play a lot this year. You can tell a lot about teams by how they dominate, I think TT is a legit contender. This is all assuming your starting qb stays healthy
