The Playoff Committee and BCS have had the same 4 teams in every playoff.

The only differences have been on who is #2/#3 a few years.

Alabama eked out a 3-0 win over lowly Mississippi State after Saban wrecked Tua's career while trying to run up the score.

That might be the dumbest sentence in the history of the Rant.

16 and 17 weren't controversial at all, other than to people who don't know how the playoff committee works.

14 I can absolutley see the debate on, although the big 12 was hurt by having co-champions (no one team to point to as being "conference champion) and with the same record as OSU

don’t know why people act like the committee hasn’t worked out

because most people are ignorant and have an idea in their head of how things should go and if it doesn't go that way then everyone else is wrong. I agree with you that the committee has been excellent so far and 2014 is really and truly the only year you could even make a case for another selection.

And all 3 were also in per the BCS and most of the strength of record metrics.

No I am not. Bama at #5 is the first team up if Georgia loses the SECCG. If Bama is at #4, then a big CG win by Oregon might jump them from #5.

Again, you are dumb. There's no point explaining it again. WG has tried that.

do you seriously not understand that CCG weekend is going to massively shift the rankings?

Bama has a 0.0% chance of the playoffs unless multiple P5 conferences have champions with multiple losses. Do you think that will happen? If not, then bama is out and you can friggin relax guy

How would UGA be ranked ahead of Bama in that case? You guys had a better loss to the #1/#2 team. UGA lost to an unranked USC.

we have wins over 3 teams in the top 20

bama has only played 1 ranked team and lost. Their best win is who, atm? MSU? Duke?

because the CFP Cmte has shown that quality wins outweigh a weak loss.

And UGA has them in spades over Bama this year.

Moot point because there is really no scenario where UGA and Bama are both battling for that 4th spot after the SECCG.

LSU beats UGA: UGA is out; Bama sweats it out vs resumes of Oregon/Utah or OU.
UGA beats LSU: UGA is in; LSU is likely in; Bama definitely out.

And you lost to South Carolina an in section rival team. If Bama lost to OM or Arkansas it would be the same.

A question was asked and I answered it, if you're upset take it up with teh committee.

would they also have wins over ND, UF, and AU? If so then they would be ahead of us since we wouldn't have a single win over a ranked team and gone 0-1 against the only ranked teams on our schedule.

Convincing win? They scored 3 points the whole second half!

Every LSU fan on this board has said Saban was dumb for playing Tua because the game was over and not in doubt.

Now scoring after the game was over and not in doubt does matter?

Pick a side and stick with it.
