edit, yes, different selection process, but it still came down to human voters more than the computers

I would hope you are correct about this, but I could see them putting Alabama in out of habit…

and do you think awake gets in over Cincy?

UGA
OK
Cincy
Michigan

Wake?

Wake would get in over Cincinnati. They are in a P5 conference.

Wake I not winning out and if they do they still will be left out

And it’s kind of bullshite because there was always a 0% chance Clemson would be left out undefeated

OT but the Deacs scored 70 points yesterday and had 18 minutes of possession. Crazy, never seen that before.

or FSU, Miami & VA Tech if any of them could get their shite together

hell, GA Tech would probably not even be denied

I agree the Cincinnati SHOULD be left out, but I just can’t see the committee leaving them out after all the hype, beating ND & the national rankings…

gave up 56

but they pretty much led the whole game & then pulled away

unlike Oklahoma, who has struggled and fought to come back and looked bad against several teams

Deacons look better to me than Sooners at this point in the season

I know this ... listening to the national sports media ... if there's even the slightest pretext of NOT including two SEC schools - then only one SEC school is going.

Doesn't have to be fair. They're selling you that story now, to get you ready for what's coming.

If Wake keeps winning they are going keep moving up and pushing these other teams down until they are in the top four. Cincinnati will get pushed to 5 if there are 4 undefeated P5 teams.

What if all 5 conferences have an undefeated champion?

In that case somebody is getting left out. I'm laughing thing if this will ever happen.

You say laughing ... I say hoping.

College Basketball invites 64 teams (yeah 68, but ignore that stupid set of Tuesday games) to settle it all. There's about 330 College Basketball teams. About one in five makes it. Now - maybe that's too much. Reasonable folks can disagree.

College Football invite four - out of about 130. That's about one out of every thirty. That's too few. I'll make that argument.

I hope each conference does have a team that wins out. Chaos is the only thing that will bring change.

Wake should be in over Cincinnati.

But Cincinnati should be in over Oklahoma.

Oklahoma looks like shite in a weak a conference. Their record is fools gold. No way they should take a spot from an undefeated Wake or Cincinnati team.

That is true. Sometimes you need chaos to have change. Everyone in the Pac 12 has lost so it can't happen this year.

There's no way we belong in the playoffs at this point. Yes, we may improve when we get some of starters on D back from injuries but it's still won't be enough IMHO. I'm so disgusted with this team that I almost hope we lose a game just so we don't go and end up getting embarrassed again.

OU is 8-0. What are the Aggies?

When is the last time the Aggies were 8-0? It certainly wasn't when they were in the weak Big 12, LOL./.

A one loss UGA, Bama, or Ohio St will get in over an undefeated Wake who didn't place anyone

Even though they would have deserved it completely. That would be the easiest path to a natty for UGA ever.
Exactly why the playoffs SHOULD expand. Give these undefeated weak conference champions a chance, but letting 1-2 loss teams in to prove that they are from a formidable conference/sos and would still beat the shite out of them

Ole Miss vs Wake would be a great round 1 of 3 game . UGA vs Wake in the semis would be a bloodbath.
