That would be one of the wildest, most unexplainable home run hires college football has ever seen.

Internet user Tuscaloosa is either oozing with sarcasm, currently inebriated, or has literally lost his god damned mind and I have no idea which one it is

Really? I wouldn't go that far. He would have to clean up all the mess and then be hit with bowl banned and limited scholarships. Also would have to go out and starts recruiting and hiring of staff. That is not going to be looking good at the last minute for getting some good recruits!

I’d agree that that would be a home run hire. Definitely not what I would have expected given the circumstances.

I'm a big fan of Fleck. He's a culture guy through and through. That's one thing Tennessee desperately needs right now.

Well you tried the brick layer, why not a boat rower. He could give motivational speeches to your lady rowing team.

That’s why it would be a ridiculous home run hire. Why would PJ Fleck, who will probably be able to name his price and terms after next season for any opening he wants, take a UT job that’s going to require a complete rebuild and likely with NCAA sanctions?

If UT can pull that off, I would be floored.

Their class post-Pruitt firing is still 15th with nine 4* players. I think he’d be fine.

Can't speak for the award winning poster Tuscaloosa, but I'm inebriated and it seemed like a good post.

Players have transferred out. That is what I am talking about!. Got to start interviewing and then do the recruiting. Not enough time for this class and then next year will be a little bit better but not much it will be in 2023 before he starts getting the right recruits and that might not worked out since Tennessee is a step behind already from the rest of the SEC football programs.

I can’t imagine how quickly his schtick would wear out in Knoxville.

Fleck went 3-4 this year. I’m not sold on him.

Plus he idolizes Greg Schiano. Probably came up with row the boat after seeing Schiano chop that wood.

I have a side hustle selling fancy trash cans. Should I be booking a flight to Knoxville?

Minnesota lost to the worst Michigan team I have ever seen put on a field. He needs a soft landing from a flailing program, much like Scott Frost.
