Kirby's not jumping to another college job but the NFL is gonna throw out some offers that will be staggering.

Why end up like Nick Saban?

The only answer is Coach Prime. You know he wants the hell out of Jackson.

He’s definitely been mentioned a ton for that job. But so has Urbs and Lance Leipold and Matt Campbell

Too much of a leap from FCS to the SEC West. He may have to get the training wheels off at somewhere like Vandy or Mizzou

He currently makes more than all but 3 NFL coaches, you think a team is gonna offer him top 3 NFL coach money?

Doesn’t even belong in the same convo as Fleck. Botch is where he needs to be, a much smaller school who won’t pick on him for being in the high school band

Is there a coach in America that wouldn't want to end up like Nick Saban??

I certainly don’t want him to leave, but it’s not like the NFL is going to pay him more than Sean McVay, Bellicheck or Carrol and he makes more than all the others now. If he leaves for the NFL it won’t be because he got a raise

If it happens, I'll melt, but I don't see it happening.

Who is the last successful college coach to go to the NFL and have success, other than Carroll? Carroll was paying players at USC and Carroll had previous NFL experience at New England before that.

Kirby would be in the Saban or Spurrier mold and those guys have not been successful in the NFL.

The only similarities are they both have that kind of cheesy motivational speaker type of personality.

But Fleck can actually coach a P% program.

Could he coach in the SEC? I don't know. But he is a legit coach.

Butch is just a glorified cheerleader.

Pretty sure at Auburn it would be roll the boat.

So we add “row the boat” to War Eagle, Go Tigers, Plainsmen……

Yeah this makes sense!

You're right. Pass him up and hire a guy like Gene Chizik back
