The guy can recruit and has done a great job every place he’s been

Often building programs up from scratch

He isn’t just a good coach but he builds a real culture wherever he goes

Has Minnesota relevant for the first time since Aggy won a nation title

And most of all, unlike Harsin who is dry and boring and vanilla, Fleck is super energetic and magnetic and dynamic in terms of personality.

He is what is needed on the Plains.

Doesn't make much sense for PJ and AU might want to try someone other than a weirdo from the north.

I'd like to see AU hire that Yankee frick, but isn't he at his "destination job"?

coaches say that all the time.

For the right money they’ll have a new destination job

Auburn fans are cringe enough to get behind the whole “row the boat” thing as well

I think Kirby is a lifer at Georgia

Plus what he has at Georgia is way different than what fleck could do at Minnesota. And Kirby is getting paid.

But who knows. If the nfl itch comes he might explore it. I doubt that he would or that it would happen, but stranger things have happened.

Kirby's not jumping to another college job but the NFL is gonna throw out some offers that will be staggering.

Where in Auburn is he gonna find coordinated ties and waist coats?

Actually he wouldn’t be a terrible hire.

I mean, I do, too. Strongly. But PJ Fleck said that Minnesota was his destination job, and I tend to believe him. He's from that part of the country and has the matching quirkiness, to boot.

He'd be leaving behind job security for one helluva dumpster fire/roller coaster ride.

I don't see him as a good fit for AU, either. One Yankee was probably enough for them.

Auburn doesn't need to start from scratch. Just look at their facilities, fanbase numbers and NIL potential.

Harsin continued to make BSU relevant and is a good Xs and Os coach. He just doesn't know the South, same with Fleck.

Auburn is gonna call Urban Myer and make him say no.

If we hire fricking PJ Fleck you might as well shut down the program. Would be a total disaster
