Either would be an upgrade.

They couldn't handle someone out west, what makes you think they can handle someone up north?

He's smarter than that, to coach at Auburn you have to be a yes man. Yes Mr Lowder, Yes Mr Rane, etc

I dont see Fleck as a Yes man.

Don’t think his style of play will work in this league. He seems like a slightly less incompetent Butch Jones

This is fricking sweet! When Saban retires, Kirby can crush your dreams off the field as well!

AU went outside the SEC footprint and think of their last two coaches even though Gus had some good success. PJ is out of the box and would not be any better then Harsin

hold the rope or row the boat? which one is he?

Harsin is a "row the rope" kind of guy so I think they go a different direction.

No, grateful he wasn't.

GTFOH.

He said he wasn't exactly sure why Tank didn't get more touches Saturday. That right there shows he ain't got a clue.

Harsin continued to make BSU relevant
Boise plateaued and their fans began to complain about Harisn because they felt like it started to slip under him.

He didn't do a bad job there, but it can be argued that he only maintained the status quo at best. If that.

Gus had plenty of SEC experience. He won a natty as a coordinator and was regarded as one of the best offensive guys in football.

Harsin rode Peterson's coat-tails.

Actually, Minnesota has won 3 AP titles since A&M’s lone championship.

I was on the "he shouldn't be judged on his first two seasons" train...until Saturday. Penn St is not 30 points better as the visiting team than Auburn. Or, they never should be.

I have seen Boise State fans talk about his ego and how he rode what Peterson did and thought it was just a bunch of sour grapes. Well, I'm seeing what they are talking about and it's painfully clear that Harsin and his potato gang were not and are not ready for big time SEC football. Not on the recruiting trail, not in spring and fall camp, and not on GameDay. He would have been better off taking a Pac12 job where they don't blink at getting embarrassed on their home turf now and then.

That shite Saturday was an embarrassment and it's unexcusable.

Kirby's not jumping to another college job but the NFL is gonna throw out some offers that will be staggering.

Why end up like Nick Saban?
