That does not matter! Were there anyone there to keep an eye on who is going to get hired and make sure it is agreed on by the other people that get to vote to approve or disapprove the hired! That is all on Arkansas! No excuses for the flopped!
You can blame Jerry Jones for it then. Is that surprising?

Again you had other people to agree or to disagree on the hiring. That is still on Arkansas for their failure to see it and cost your football program to hit rock bottom!

That doesn’t take much to accomplish this year. Just look at the teams that hired head coaches in the SEC. For Arkansas, was ZERO possibility of getting worse and the others who hired coaches were not far off.

Who fault was to hired Chad and no one else checked to get an approval? Again you are now starting over and got to start from the bottom to go up. Good luck to your new head coach and the coaching staff but not again Mizzou.

Maybe you'll have better luck with YOUR high school coach.
We tried it,it sucks.

Sam is well respected and putting together a heck of staff. If they stay together and the powers that be don't get antsy I could see Arkansas getting up to 8 or 9 wins in 4 years

In all honesty, we just need some stability. He doesn't have to come in and take the conference by storm. Just establish a good culture and give the program a solid foundation to build and instruct. Very important to limit turnover from season to season going forward now that the first goal of hiring a good staff has been met in a huge way. The front office will still play a big role in the future.
Briles is probably the first to get a shot at a HC job somewhere if things go well, but that's hopefully a few seasons away.

Because he hired UGa’s ST coach?
Hey look, anything’s an improvement over Chad the Bad.

Because he hired Scott Fountain? Auburn was trying to find stuff for him to do a while back. He was a glorified intern.

We just hired Kendal Briles as our OC. You just hired Chad Morris.

Yeah I know. Was the tweet not referring to the Scott Fountain hire?
And it really doesn't matter who is hired in Fayetteville, Gus is gonna run his yearly train on them regardless.

I thought it was pretty obvious that it was talking about his entire body of work in forming the staff and simply using that as talking point while announcing the latest addition. No one in their right mind is going to crown a coach for their special teams hire alone.

The tweet was about a special teams coach, dipshit.

Actually it was a last resort hire. Those usually don't turn out very well.

When you inherit a program, USC, mid season and go 6-2, sure, it adds up.
