The best hire because he took UGA's average ST coach

It’s a win win. Arkansas gets a good recruiter in fountain and UGA gets an extra spot for another offensive coach which they desperately need.

But your AD thought otherwise. No one stopped Chad from being hired in the first place! That is on your school to double checked on Chad Morris!

We didn’t have an AD when we hired Morris dumbass. That cum stain in Dallas(Jerry Jones) is the only reason bitch boy was ever hired.

It is funny that a team that hired Odum is criticizing Arky for hiring a coach they believe will stabilize their program and build a base for the future.

There is no way a fat arse offense line coach is gonna be a better OFFENSE hire than Joe Brady was.

Yeah, that’s why he hired Kendall Briles, one of the best OCs in the country.

quote:

He turned the old LSU three yards and a cloud of dust offense into the most prolific and most acclaimed offense in SEC history that holds the scoring, yardage, efficiency and every QB record there is. There is no way his fat arse has Arkansas breaking ANY OF THESE RECORDS NEXT YEAR. It’s not gonna happen. You might, maybe get three or four wins but you ain’t breaking yardage or scoring records with THAT ROSTER.

Brady has helped, no doubt, but you have to realize that a generationally great QB had much to do with it as well. Nobody thinks it’s going to happen for Arkansas in one year, it has taken nearly a decade of suck to get here. If we get bowl eligible next year, Pittman is coach of the year.

His offense at FSU this past year ranked 73 out of a 130 schools. I don't see the excitement in that.

Yeah, he was there one year. The year before they were ranked in the 100’s. Briles is widely acknowledged as one of the very best OCs in college football. It isn’t just me making the claim.

When you are hiring every year, it's not thread worthy.

At the time of this writing, isn’t he the only offseason hire in the SEC?

Even if that were true, Pittman hiring a fantastic staff to Arkansas certainly is thread worthy. This is quite possibly the best staff ever assembled here. It will be interesting to see how it works with a first year HC.

Dude gets 6 wins and we may give him a statue with as bad as we have been. Slow your roll. We know where we are as a school and fans.

Don’t get me wrong, I really like Pittman......as an o-line coach. I just don’t think you take the leap to HC coach in the SEC, especially at his age, and weight. Recruiting is a tough grind even for young, healthy, experienced coaches. Pittman has been recruiting o-linemen, now he has to recruit and coach an entire team, plus all of the other grind that HCs have to go through. I could be wrong, but I don’t think he’s up to the challenge, and Arkansas can’t keep the revolving door going. You’re on your 12th in 30 years.

I'm just glad to see Kirby getting his staff poached.
