Davis will likely get a chance in some lame, meaningless postseason tournament...so record likely falling.

Even if he had broken it tonight, the comparison would be futile. There will never be another Pistol

14-19 tho… there’s no way they are worthy even given the circumstances. Then again…. there is always a way. Damn man Chicken is right.

It’s a participation trophy at this point if it goes that route

If a tourney is that desperate just for a record it would be laughable

I think someone did a review on it and had him tallied at 57 points per game if there was a 3 point line.

Edit: I looked it up and it was Dale brown who charted his college shots and came up with that tally.

Would it really take anything away if the dude broke the record? Y’all are nauseating

Someone went back and looked at his typical shots when the 3 pt was added and he took tons of shots that were beyond the 3 pt line, he would have had 50-60 pts per game with the 3 pt shot instead of 45

Yes, because the only way anyone is able to is with 50+ extra games in their career and Covid adding an extra 1-2 years.

So yes, his record falling would take it away as in normal circumstances he has zero shot in a normal Basketball career

The ultimate asterisk record IF they put them in a post season game.
