You would have four 0/1 loss P5 champions

And then a 2-loss P5 champion

So I'd guess the 0/1 loss teams would have a great shot

Top four as in the best teams, most deserving or how the playoff committee will pick it bc all those are different answers

So you think a 1 loss ACC Clemson who beat FSU would be left out for a 2 loss LSU who lost to FSU. The committee cannot even come a little close to explaining that away.. LSU would be out.

Obviously TCU, Michigan would be locks..

Them it comes down to what the score in the LSU-UGA game, if it's super close, I think LSU gets in and probably UGA, but USC could take that spot based on being a 1 loss P5 champ..

Now USC's body of work I think would pale in comparison to UGA's as far as who they played and results from their games...

Clempsum had no chance unless they CRUSH the cocks and North Carolina.

I’m wondering that too. I know other factors exist but clem has a blowout loss to nd on the road. LSU has a blowout loss to tenn at home. Clemson beat FSU in tally and controlled the game til late. LSU lost in a neutral site(Louisiana) in a game that wasn’t competitive until the last two minutes to FSU. Assuming a win out scenario Clem would also have a win against the team that smashed tenn( who smashed LSU). I’m not saying they would jump bc that uga win would be best win of the season for anyone. However a one loss Ohio state would 100 percent be in the mix.

They’re not leaving out the sec champ. Get the frick over it. Just win the game and Georgia doesn’t have anything to worry about.

4. USC

I think TCU and USC have the best chance of losing a game. Georgia and Ohio State I see winning and their Championships too. This isn't like last year where Georgia could lose and still get in CFP. More teams are at one lose this year and no undefeated Group 5 team either. A lot of people are counting out Ohio State in The Game! This team doesn't have the same bad defense of last year! It wouldn't surprise me if Ohio State blows out Ttun! I don't see 2 SEC teams getting in unless there is major chaos.

Your logic is equivalent to telling the winner of the superbowl “hey we realize you won the game, but the team you beat had a better record so we’re gonna go ahead and give them the trophy”

For fricks sake.

Could mean two different things. Here's who I think the committee, based upon past selections, would put into the playoff:

Michigan
TCU
USC
Clemson

This would be the worst selection of all time, so I could see the committee justifying breaking from the data, in this scenario.

I can see USC losing to ND. Leaving the Pac 12 out of the CFP. Clemson losing to North Carolina in Championship. Leaving the ACC out of the CFP. LSU winning a close one in SEC Championship and getting into the CFP. Ohio State and TCU winning out. That way I do see 2 SEC teams in the CFP. That would be 1. Ohio State 2. TCU 3. Georgia 4.LSU That way LSU & Georgia don't play back to back games. I don't see the committee putting in 2 Big Ten teams even if it is a close game or goes into overtime. It just won't happen.

Conference championship is a factor that is considered. There are no guarantees other than the 4 best teams. In that scenario I see it being:

1.Michigan
2.Georgia
3.TCU
4.LSU

Yes, and so would the Cmte if you've been paying attention at all.

Who should get picked or who would get picked?

LSU probably should be the 4th pick, but Clemson probably gets the nod.
