Got what he deserved? Interesting.
Negotiated settlement with the NCAA ending the darkest period in Tennessee football and was able to avoid any serious consequences. Lived to see the decline of Alabama and Florida. Gets to see Tennessee athletics grow to full spectrum elite status. Gets to enjoy his retirement knowing Tennessee is in good hands and growing it’s brand.

Alabama is the defending SEC champ. Tennessee hasn't been to the championship game since 2007 and hasn't won it since 1998 (Alabama has won it 10 times since then). We are the ones in decline?
