Actually, Jimbo's "scheme" was a simple handoff to Achane who run it down our fricking throats.
you may want to re-watch that game and pay attention this time instead of kicking your alligator.

Don't tell anyone, but Perkins was an undersized freshman who was susceptible to that all season.

That was Javon Bullard.
But Dumas-Johnson is a beast and will be a top 3 round draft pick.

Harold Perkins was money well spent, even if he did shite the bed against A&M!

Perkins is a very good pass rushing specialist. He is fast, but has a ways to go to be considered one of the best returning LBs in the country. The hype seems a bit unfair at this point in time.
Not sure what weight Perkins will be playing at, but he could use some more. Achane is only 185 lbs and breaking tackles wasn’t an issue.

I remember when LSU’s freshman RB put Aggy’s SR captain of the defense on the hood…lmk if you need a reminder.

JDJ's partner at ILB Smael Mondon is as good as him IMO. He has battled some injuries but when healthy, even Smart said he was one of the best all-around athletes he's coached at any position.

No need to get rustled, I was complimentary of Perkins’ strengths

Didn't JDJ knock their RB back for a two yard loss after Stroud scrambled into FG range? I think that play spooked Ryan Day into getting a little conservative and not aggressively trying to push closer for the kicker.
He's really good. There was not much of a dropoff from Nakobe Dean to him, and that was a big concern of mine going into last season.

JDJ is a head hunter. His soul has one goal. Go get that motherfricker. He's a pit bull, and he's gonna getcha.

I am highly partial to JD-J, but it will be interesting to see how Perkins does in his 2nd year. Also, he will be known next season, so teams will spend a lot of time scheming for him.

The leading tacklers in the SEC should at least get mentioned.

I dunno about any of those guys, but the linebacker with the best linebacker name: Stone Blanton, University of South Carolina..

Not the guy that dumb ole Jimbo schemed out of a game last November.
Texas A&M didn’t beat a single P5 opponent in October or November until beating LSU on November 26. Knowing how LSU-obsessed Dumb ole Jimbo is, he must have been working on that scheme since September. I guess he learned how to long-term prep for Super Bowl games from Daddy Saban.
