Nah I like them. It's Stockholm syndrome for sure, but Saturdays won't be the same without them. They are SEC football.

I'm a fan of Verne and Gary. They've been calling the CBS Game of the Week together for almost 10 years. Verne's been doing it since 2000.

Took a cruise couple of years ago and Verne was on as a guest speaker. I enjoyed listening to him. I have no issues with he and Gary

Verne and Gary are great.
Even if you don't like them, you have to look at the alternatives. It could be much worse. There are some awful announcers out there.

It gets old hearing Verne scream "OH MY GOODNESS" every Saturday.

I don't really understand why it has become so fashionable to hate them. Vern isn't great, I admit, but he's not as bad as people pretend. Danielson gives more insight than just about any color analyst.

Of course alabama fans like them. They slobber on your teams knob the whole game. It's so unprofessional the bias they have. If I wanted alabama bias I would listen to the game on alabama radio.

I'm against getting rid of Gary and Verne simply because ragging on them is the new cool thing to do.
