We went 15-0 with your worst coach. Took a few years.

Lane has LSU in the right direction. 2 close losses. No one had us better than 10-2 most had us 8-4 or 9-3.

I’ll take the improvements I’ve seen.

Good luck to you next year when you don’t have a 6 year Heisman candidate qb.

This is and has always been one of the dumbest things LSU fans repeat.

And LSU fans repeat a lot of dumb shite.

Trinidad Chambliss made people overrate both Lane and Pete.

...and Trinidad wouldn't have started if Austin Simmons hadn't gotten hurt.

He covered himself in shite as he walked out the door. We didn't have to do that for him.

Golding was the reason for all of the offensive success while Miffin was here.

That tends to happen when someone tries to burn everything down on the way out.

Two QBs that are good at running the football and pretty good passing but haven't run the offense with meaningful playing time.

But hey, when Simmons was playing, y'all didn't care who Chambliss was.

But do you even find him, much less get him to ole piss without Lane?

Well, it was CWJ who found him. Lane made it happen. Lane also did the legwork to get him eligible this year.

14 straight weeks inside the AP Top 10

Where does the 14 come from? Are we counting physical weeks or amount of AP poll rankings released?

There have been only 10 AP poll rankings released since Golding became head coach.

Lane Kiffin
2025-26 11/30 AP Poll - Ranking after Kiffin’s Final Game. Ole Miss #6

Pete Golding
2025-26 12/7 AP Poll - Ranking after Conference Championship Weekend and while Golding was Head Coach. I’ll be generous and give this to Golding even though Ole Miss’ ranking was unchanged from previous week and still #6.
2025-26 Final AP Poll
2026-27 Preseason AP Poll
2026-27 Regular Season - 7 weeks of AP Poll Rankings

Pete Golding led Rebels have never been ranked outside of the Top 10 in the AP poll

Indeed! Rebels definitely winning the Natty this year and rolling that success for years to come. Every single Ole Miss fan should be thankful for Pete Golding before he leaves for a football school, which is what successful coaches at Ole Miss have always done.

Pete Golding is the best coach in college football

jk, We have to wait and see what he does without Trinidad Imo. I have watched them boys play and Trinidad keeps them in the game because he simply scores.

Brother. O is so far from our worst coach. Most fans have said since the firing that he deserved one more year. One stupid decision cost him his job. That team the following year was the most talented team in the country and we went to the Cotton Bowl with Houston Nutt as our coach. O would have had us in contention.

Also, don't act like that team didn't have the greatest offense in college football history. We could have taken that team to the championship.

Lot of whispers about him carving the up the defense..

We experienced Kiff benching the better player at other positions for petty reasons...
