No, I was at that point a few days ago (no evidence) and had no belief that he'd be gone until I saw something pretty concrete otherwise. It's different now.

I’ll take him. I get why Alabama doesn’t want him because it’s hard to follow up Kirby Smart. But he’s experienced and will help us improve I feel like. Both programs are getting what they want

100% agree - he'll do a fine job as a defensive coach there and, as importantly, he'll sign some high level defensive players.

You are……bet you one of those 300 pounders who eats up 2 seats in Bryant-Denny! Why do you go after fellow bama fans jerk?

he’s a good recruiter and good position coach. Just like McGriff. He doesn’t need to be in charge of more than that.

Well I pay for 2 seats so if I choose to take them both up with my fat (or skinny) arse then that is my prerogative.

I didn't go after any fan, I went after a statement that was stupid. If that statement was attached to a "fellow Bama fan", sorry not sorry?

So is Pruitt the leading candidate to be Bama's DC next year?

I think Auburn and A&M just helped open that door for them.

No your defense wasn’t the problem

Alabama scored 49 points against Tennessee. And lost. I would say defense was a problem.

They are both shitty. Let's rewind the tape and look at the facts:

Loss # 1: Tennessee 52, Alabama 49; 49 Points is plenty to win the ball game if your DC doesn't go full retard

Loss # 2: LSU 32, Alabama 31; Defense held LSU to 24 points in regulation. Alabama's offense was putrid because the OC is a waterhead

See how it's not just one or the other, but both of these ruhtards need to hit the bricks?

Defenses of 2008-2017 were better in every statistical category than the defenses of 2018-2022

George… take a seat and shut the hell up for just a minute.

Thanks.

- Kirby made those defenses elite

- Pruitt took over after Kirby, (took credit for his work)

- Every coordinator since has sucked arse

Summary: Saban is a joke, Kirby was the reason for A1abana’s success. Move on.

He was pretty good for a fist year coordinator. Especially with all the new faces. Comparing him to crimedawg is nutty.

Damn, this would be like great frickin news. I’ve heard this but I’ve also heard it’s not happening.
There’s got to be somebody out there that wants this guy. Same with BOB.

BOB'e contract is over in 6 weeks. He's done. We're all praying Golding goes to Ole Miss. Ole Miss side of things is very confident. We'll see.

no....our defense was absolutely awful and it never improved as the season went on.

The LSU game stands out where we never had a chance because we lined up 8-12 yards off every receiver on every single play. LSU 10 yard pass'd us the entire night.

We had a ton of new faces in Durkin's defense in 2021 and that defense actually won us game later in the season.
