Cost LSU the win against bama. Worst than the 2009 PP7 call and one of the worst I've EVER seen in the game of football. Someone needs to link that play cause I don't know how. But I do know that steve shaw and sec officiating is an absolute joke and an embarrassment to the great coaches, athletes and administrators in this region who work their tails off to be successful. It's frickin hillbilly shite and makes everyone down south look like clowns, imo. Won't matter this year though...

It was retaliation. Guy that retaliates gets caught almost always. Vadal shouldn't have given ref a reason

Yea, it was after they blew the whistle. There was a lot of pushing and shoving but that was pretty obvious whenever the guy flies out of picture.

Wow, really? A hand to the face and then a shove. Easy call.

You have to keep your composure there. Vadal was baited and fell for it. It was dirty, but that happens. You cannot retaliate that way - not in that situation.

Same thing happened 2 years before with a personal foul call down near the goal line. Players have to learn to calm down and be smart. If it is a close game, it will happen again. That is what Bama does. They try to get under your skin and then the ref calls it their way when you retaliate.

Be smart.

They battled like that all game... Cmon it's two titans goin at it every year. Don't let a call decide a game like that. Wander if Lsu has 1 loss and bama 2 if it gets called ??

Don't push someone 10 seconds after the whistle blows.

Sorry your player lost his cool in a big moment. Maybe Les should have instilled more discipline instead of worrying about funny press conferences.

Except it really did. LSU outplayed Bama the entire game and that opportunity blown drastically influenced the game.

The only person that was sorry was Steve Shaw who personally apologized to Miles for that call as reported by espn radio.

Bama player is the one f'ing around with the RB long after the whistle. Vidal says "get your hands off" and the Bama player falls backwards 20 yards in an exaggerated DIVE.

Point of the thread is: it was a bad call. The refs fell for for dive and called the wrong team. That kind of call, in an important situation like that, simply never goes against Bama.

Exact reason our guy has to be smarter than that. You can't give the refs a reason

LSU outplayed Bama the entire game and lost because of a 15 yard penalty?
