LSU and Tennessee should be happy...unless they wanted good games in their season ticket packages. No one should get Vandy AND Kentucky as permanent opponents. Vandy is good right now, but historically those are the 2 conference bottom dwellers. But seems like Tennessee always got to close their seasons with Vandy and Kentucky anyway to "finish strong."
Florida-Tennessee is really the one that should have been kept. Guess growing up, that was the biggest SEC game most years in the 90s.

Unfortunately for you, the historical record doesn’t match your bruised ego wishes.

Everyone should rember just because you get either 3 or 2 hard teams annually or you get easier. You still have to play 6 other teams in a conference where 12-10 will be in the top 25?At any time. The road isn’t easy any direction

Hell no. LSU & Fla should have been paired. LSU has no business playing 8-4. That has never been a rivalry game.

As a Georgia fan, I wanted Kentucky. Nobody wants to travel to away games in Columbia.
Just move this game from week 3 and it won't be so bad...2nd weekend of September is BRUTAL in Columbia...move it to 2nd weekend of October and it's nowhere near as bad. Also that allows us to move Auburn back to when it should be played in November.

Good deal, LSU and Texas were the main two I wanted, didn't care about the third.

I hate it because I'm not real thrilled about playing in Columbia, Missouri in late November.
But there is no choice. Texas has to be during the state fair... and Ole Miss has the Egg Bowl.

Yea, it's weird forcing the a&m rivalry on LSU.

I wanted Ole Miss, Arky, and Fla, but I guess we’re stuck with A&M forever now. Sigh

Agreed, later in the year would be much more desirable. 250 feet of elevation in a bowl of humidity is nothing short of miserable.
Motor Supply will taste better when I haven't just had a heat stroke.

The ups and downs of teams from year to year will have much more influence on how tough your schedule is in any given year than who you drew as your 3 annual opponents.

believe it or not, that wasn't a yearly matchup for them until the 1992 expansion when divisions were created. They used to play Auburn and Ole Miss every year before that. They've played MS State almost as many times as they've played Florida

Do not hate it...would prefer to keep Ole Miss and drop Missouri...but it is what it is...
Hopefully Arkansas/LSU goes back to the Friday after Thanksgiving and they move the Missouri game to September and put Texas in October.
Looking at Arkansas and LSU's perm's, it almost looks like it would have to go back to where it was for so many years, the Friday after Thanksgiving.
Hopefully Arkansas will have a competent coach after this season.

So our two games vs Mississippi is considered a rivalry.
What do you say, Ole Miss fans?
Luv it or hate it?
