Following Georgia per capita is Alabama (1 per 79,682 residents), Mississippi (1 per 84,780) and Florida (1 per 96,914). Other Southern states in the top 12 are South Carolina (eighth), Texas (10th) and Tennessee (12th).

Birmingham metro produces the most NFL picks per capita, but Atlanta, Miami and NOLA aren't far behind.

This isn't "per capita" but Fort Lauderdale would be the leader by far in the per capita category.

But Auburn has two Heisman winners from Alabama in Pat Sullivan and Bo Jackson. Auburn also gets a lot of talent out of Florida and Mississippi.

Yes Auburn gets a lot out of Georgia but when the West side of Georgia is closer to Auburn than Athens many of those kids are Auburn fans. Just like South Georgia has a lot of FSU and Florida fans. Just because they lie inside the Geographic border doesn’t make them all Georgia fans.

So you're pointing out Georgia's wealth of talent because it translates to Nat'l Championships for Georgia's neighbors but not uga?

Ok? I don't know what to do with this self-own. Thanks?

National avg is 1 per 180,000 residents! That’s incredible.

True, but if we used the same counting method as bama, 1983, 1993, & 2004 would be claimed, so...

And yet I had an Auburn poster just a couple of days ago try to claim those exact titles.

Dude. He is talking about Georgia High School football and how well it develops players. The state. Nothing about UGA football. It is not that difficult to understand for anybody but you. It is simple logic and comprehension. Apparently two things you lack.

Not surprising since his point went right over your head.

BAMA has more National Championships than any other school in the modern era, no matter what counting method you choose.

1983 - If Osborne kicks the extra to tie Miami (using Pat Dye's coaching methods) this isn't even a discussion.

1993 - Probation. Lol. No.

2004 - Bwahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!

Not to mention, 1957 AU was on probation as well.

That's fine. It still took AU 53 years to win a championship. Haha. I just like saying it.
