LINK I'm not a huge fan of per capita stats and if they used a per participent calculation I would assume Florida would come in first.

quote:

Boasting 134 players total from a state with a population of 9,687.653, Georgia claims one NFL standout per 72,296 residents.

Though Florida has the most overall players with 194, followed by Texas (192) and California (170), percentage wise, Georgia is tops.

Congrats on your high schools producing so many talents. Good for us, the majority go on to play in other states.

That would kind of make sense with an 85 scholarship limit and 125+ kids signing D1 scholarships
every year. O

And we all know where Auburn would be without Georgia kids

Which makes that fact that you haven't won a national championship since 1980 just that much more CRINGEWORTHY...

Does UG rely on some FL kids or is it just Auburn that relies on GA kids. You guys have weird rules.

Auburn relies heavily on Georgia kids and would probably have a UK type legacy without em.

Arguably their best offensive (Cam) and defensive players (Derrick Brown,Tracey Rocker) were from Georgia.

Georgia doesn't "rely" on Florida kids but why not recruit the best area of the country (South Florida) Especially when the HC of the flagship school is such a shitty recruiter.

I like how some of y'all keep repeating this as if it isn't 100% a self-own

Difference between recruiting kids from another state and relying on them to sustain your program.

I honestly don't know why this post gets you rustled. Obviously your state produces some great players and it would be silly not to recruit the area...just like Dan recruits metro Atlanta and the state.

It’s so soy to claim someone responding to you is rustled. Really lame.

I guess if you are a zealot then someone that types interesting is rustled.

Per participent is a better gauge. The state of Florida as a ton of retirees obviously without
school age kids.

I saw a per participent calculation a few years back and Florida was #1 followed by Georgia.

But you really didn't respond to my original post which I thought was kind of interesting. And the immediate response was a salty Aubie fan just trolling.

I get that this place is a cesspool but my OP wasn't meant to be any type of troll or pro UGA chest pumping but somehow the thin skinned masses on here can't take legit post on face value.

It's an annual survey that provides some interesting trends about HS FB.

Iirc Birmingham metro produces the most NFL picks per capita, but Atlanta, Miami and NOLA aren't far behind.

Ok.

Nothing I said indicated being rustled unless you are a zealot.
