Ironically, I remember covering his press conferences in the 80s and 90s and he would cough almost as much as he spoke. Just goes to show, he puts on - and takes off - his pants just like everybody else.

Where do you see that?

This article (LINK) says the following:

quote:

Auburn coaching great Pat Dye has tested positive for COVID-19, according to 247Sports’ Brandon Marcello.

While Dye is asymptomatic, he has been hospitalized due to longstanding kidney issues, per Jack Royer of CBS 42.

One of the greats. Old school. Gravel voice, and a stare that would make your sphincter tighten up. Like Bear, Vaught, Stallings, etc.

I hope the former UGA All-American pulls through.

Also, it seems wearing pants instead of masks may be a more effective way at preventing the spread of COVID-19.

I’m friends with the family and can confirm that he was there for other health issues and the covid thing is not why he was hospitalized, nor was he having any covid related issues as of today. Someone in his sister’s prayer group leaked a prayer request, which is really tacky. Even more tacky that all the media is running with the covid headline now. Assholes

Damn right! Hang in there Pat. Wonder where in the hell he caught it from. Lee County has been a hotbed but Pat doesn't run with or associate with many people at all.

It’s not a hoax, but it’s way overblown.

The media keeps downplaying the role of co-morbidities in the mortality of COVID. They put more attention on "racism."
