Look how desperate you are to be relevant.
Such limpness.

We will see, won't we? It will either be glory, or you come crashing back down to reality, and Bama resumes its' rightful place kicking you in the arse next season.
You do realize this was just an anomaly and you don't stand a snowballs'chance in Hell next year, don't you?
But, as I said earlier, that is then, and this is now. Here is your chance. Can that Shrimpboat Captain get it done, or does he revert to placeholder status, and let it all slip away?

It's not hard to lose 44-16. Hell I think Ole Miss can fill Bama's shoes to meet that standard.

I hope you still feel that way when LSU inevitably fricks this up. Because what I am going to do then will make Paul Finebaum look like a choir boy.

Haven't you held your breath, whined, tossed enough tantrums and spewed enough hate?
Whatever you post will still not erase 46-41 or 48-45!

You just don't get it, do you boy? I can't change what's happened, and I have full confidence that Bama will take care of all that next season. No worries.
But the massive frick up that's ahead, now that's going to be fun to watch.
And I am going to pour it on when it does.
NEVER send a Corndog to do Bama's job.

The way LSU has handled teams since beating Bama should tell you a lot

But.....it hasn't really mattered until NOW. NOW is when it counts.
You all don't believe me when I say this but you had better think of the SECCG as a play in game. I absolutely believe that win or lose LSU is Top 4, but what I think does not matter.
That committee is setting it up to only take 1 SEC team.

OP does make some good points...
The defense kinda did, easing back at the end of the Arkansas game and coasting through Ole Miss. They responded and strangled A&M, way better effort.
I think the "not a complete team" talk is great, it gives the team something to focus on. Compare that to 2011, and all the "greatest team ever" talk. LSU could probably have beat Alabama again in 2011, but would have had to prepare for an absolute war (like they probably did the first time). But you could tell from the Arky and UGA games that year, they were coasting. There was only one team that could challenge them, and they had won that already. So when the rematch came around, they weren't mentally ready to put the work in again.
This season, they're stringing together another run, but instead of love they're getting criticism. More to prove.
quote:if you watch Burrow's interviews, it's clear that's his approach. He's said the same thing after beating Auburn and Florida that he did after beating Alabama. He came out and continued to excel in the 3 games following the Bama win, HE didn't have any letdown games.
But that, if LSU is worth anything, should be looked at as just a means to an end. The big prize is in sight. The playoffs are in reach. There can only be ONE winner, and THAT should be the goal, nothing else.This...is Part One.

Can bama?... Only playing devil's advocate to your troll job - certainly you might argue bama's two losses this season was bama collapsing like a folding lawn chair. SEC fans know bama isn't going anywhere. Saban reloads.

Oh good grief. Get over yourselves already Bama.

You may have a point...The SEC knows it ain't getting another 44-16 out of us.
