You honestly believe that only blacks raise the money and are responsible for that money ending up at the university? No whites do anything?
Go look at the 2 deep at Auburn in FB & MBB and do the Math, do the percentages
Also I have written repeatedly ---MAJORITY BLACK , NEVER have I written ONLY BLACK
When you misquote people intentionally, you simply muddy the water
Guess what pal, if FB & MBB were majority white males it would still be an economic injustice and a case of Gender Bias and I would still want those white Athletes to get larger Stipends on top of their full scholly
Tiny hands Joe Burro deserved a stipend of $40K or more on top of his full scholly, the way he played last season
If you take FB & MBB that's 100 stipends, a $50K stipend for those 100 guys represents a $5 million dollar carve out from the Athl dept
You don't have $5 million for the Players, but schools in the SEC have $20 million plus for buyouts for fired incompetent coaches
And yet you defend the current system?

Fair is giving the athletes, from any sport or background, that come from poorer homes more money they can live a normal student life on and off campus regardless of "how good they are" on the field. The system of paying someone to not work there anymore is as stupid as it gets. Would our jobs pay us 2 or 3 years salary to go away?
I also think in Georgia for example the hope scholarship should only go to kids who's parents couldn't afford to send them. A kid who's dad makes 300k a year, lives in an 800k house, and have 200k in cars in the driveway shouldn't be eligible

Yep I'm delusional
They said the same thing about Aristotle when he drew sketches of his "flying machine"
They said the same thing about a scientist that theorized that there were little small living things we couldn't see, before the invention of a microscope, when he was describing bacteria
Not delusional, I simply possess an internal makeup that seeks equality & Justice over the status quo and "order"
Order and the way things have always been done isn't necessarily fair & just

You are just ignoring reality to try and make a point. You absolutely care who is wearing the jersey because you want that player to be good. Fans don’t root for teams who do t have good players.
Why is it so hard for some of you to admit that players are necessary in this whole operation (especially good ones) and that they do have some leverage.
On this website , with all the rampant closed mindedness, your words are like Manna from Heaven

Now you saying the players should be like ownership now. Employee are not pay by how much the owner makes. You think the player education means nothing. Let the player go to the NFL right out of high school. This is what the NCAA needs to do and be done with it.

You still don't comprehend how stipends work and your own personal interpretation of title IX is not how things work.
You cannot arbitrarily increase stipend checks just because you are on some social
justice quest.
Once again,EACH school has their own individual formula for stipends.GT doesn't pay a kid the same room and board stipend or COA stipend as Alabama or Tennessee.
These are essentially EXPENSE payments with every dollar has to be accounted for.
What additional "expenses" are you gonna
gonna add for these players?
Once again, you HAVE to pay ALL scholarship
athletes the exact same benefits. It doesn't matter what a male FB coach is being paid vs a female soccer coach. That argument is completely irrelevant.
If you don't want accept these realities that's fine but it's what your dealing with.
You wanna increase stipends for only CFB and male CBB? Just see how long it takes for any AD who tries this to get sued immediately or gets a notification from the feds for title IX violations

"Non revenue sports are predominately white": check out the rosters of women's basketball & men & women's track. I know college baseball & softball would love to have more black athletes but blacks, male & female, have little interest in those sports. But thanks for the laugh with regards to your comment about "wasted keystrokes". This from the guy who compares himself to Aristotle in another thread. And, sure, Saban earns....earns....$9M a year. Did you read the study re how much money bama's winning brings to the city & State, not only each weekend but annually? 8 football weekends here in B.R brings in, to just the city, more than enough to pay for Coach O's salary. Add in the sales tax income the State receives & Coach O, like Saban, easily earns their salaries.

Yet you guys still post stupidity about taking scholarships and other bullshite that will never happen
This is very simple, THE PLAYERS HAVE LEVERAGE, lifelong dweebs & losers like you angry keyboard warriors will never have leverage over anything in your Life, including your GF or Wife (they're probably rationing out what little Sex you losers do get, so be thankful for that)
The mind of people that Legit control their own destiny and have some leverage over their destiny is totally different than angry nobodies like you guys
No one is taking these guys schollies, so stop getting your loser panties in a wad over nothing
Leverage only works if your value is worth the other person willing to give in to your demands, coming to the conclusion they are better off with what you bring to the table than without.
That scholarship is a contract with conditions that are to be met if the scholarship is to be renewed each year and if you are not meeting those conditions the contract can and should be terminated.
The only leverage these players have right now is banking on the schools do not want to deal with the mob, cancel culture and the media that would blitz them with negativity and slander.
These players could be replaced easily by many other players that would kill for a D1 scholly that are just as talented and probably hungrier for the opportunity than the ones complaining right now that have the scholarships.
If they are having it so bad, use that "leverage" and hit the transfer portal to a G5 school or even a HBCU and play right away. If they are talented enough the NFL will still come calling, but its time for these schools to take a stand on all these demands.
The school offered you a scholarship (contract) that would pay your tuition if you played sports for them. If you are not living up to the conditions of that contract you should have your contract terminated.
Also with that, the schools need to live up to their part of the contracts too and if you feel the school is not living up the conditions of the scholarship (contract) by all means speak out and bring it to light, but refusing to play just puts you in the position of doing exactly what you are accusing the school of doing, failure to comply with the scholarship terms...
If after bringing to light those conditions and if they are not rectified to your satisfaction, use your leverage and hit the transfer portal, if you are playing at a P5 school you will have plenty of other schools offering you a scholly to come play with them.

The problem with this whole “movement” and why it’s utterly useless is the people use the words Equality and Justice to replace and not include merit and responsibility
Which is the exact opposite of equality and justice. This movement doesn’t want equality and justice. I don’t even know if they understand the meaning of the words. It’s just more about give us things and have lesser standards because of our skin color then the rest of the world gets
Because if we truly had equality and justice there are a lot of black Americans whose lives would get harder and worse

Racial injustice you say?
How about this "racial injustice":
The 2 Sports that raise 98% of all dollars that go into any Athl Dept is generated by the 2 Sports that are Majority Black, Sports that turn a huge profit each year and those Monies are then transferred to fund Non Revenue Sports (both Men's & Women's) that are overwhelmingly white and those Monies are also transferred to fund salaries of Administrators in the Athl Dept that are also overwhelmingly white and Coaches salaries of non Revenue Sports, guess what ---- those folks are also overwhelmingly white
Let's summarize:
A group that is majority Black (especially when you look at the 2-deep in the Revenue Sports) raises all the Money
Then:
That Money is distributed where whites gets the biggest payout and get to benefit the most despite the fact that the Players get full schollies
Maybe its more to do with the sports being played than the races playing them.
If a player feels oppressed by college football then they can always not play, they arent forced to last time I checked.

A PAC degree is going to go from a sometimes prestigous to being a high priced University of Phoenix degree.
There is going to be a great exodus of talent from PAC country.
