The problem people have is that these fricking idiots are threatening to sit out bc of something that doesn't even exist. Lol, tell me what "racial injustices" are occurring exactly. They're abusing their so called "leverage" for a cause that doesnt fricking exist. It has to stop. If you believe that a school can't pull scholarships away if these idiots honestly choose to not play football, then you are mistaken. All it will take is making an example of one or two of them and then the rest will get the picture that people are tired of hearing about how they are being abused, mistreated, etc bc of their race. It's horseshite. People like you are the problem you damn tool.

ok peejayscummedgt lets make this fair take away all college scholarships and all room, board, and medical and just pay the players based on there performance on the field and the school they attend because obviously Marshall or Troy will not be able to pay what say Georgia, LSU, and BAMA will be able to pay.

if say the player doesn't make enough money to cover the expenses of being a college athlete say all the things I mentioned above then the university send the player a bill at the end of the season for what the money they made did not cover and let's see how that goes.

because players do suffer season ending injuries and that surgery could cost 20 to 30k plus all the physical therapy and rehab ( which is currently 100% free to the full ride scholarship athlete) so all that is included in the bill for the athlete. Then let's see how long before you say this is not fair. Which is very fair because if I had to have a surgery or procedure done and needed the therapy and rehab you think i can go to the nearest big university and say hey call your professionals I need a procedure done by the way do it for free. because that is exactly what these scholarship athletes get as well they should because they are on a scholarship.

if you take away that and just pay them then say bye bye to all of that because if you pay them they can pay for there own medical.

The 2 Sports that raise 98% of all dollars that go into any Athl Dept is generated by the 2 Sports that are Majority Black, Sports that turn a huge profit each year and those Monies are then transferred to fund Non Revenue Sports (both Men's & Women's) that are overwhelmingly white and those Monies are also transferred to fund salaries of Administrators in the Athl Dept that are also overwhelmingly white and Coaches salaries of non Revenue Sports, guess what ---- those folks are also overwhelmingly white

Let's summarize:

A group that is majority Black (especially when you look at the 2-deep in the Revenue Sports) raises all the Money

Then:

That Money is distributed where whites gets the biggest payout and get to benefit the most despite the fact that the Players get full schollies

Before you dismiss me as being some sort of "librul" loon, what I have summarized above has been written in multiple National Publications that have studied the "undertones of Racism" with the NCAA's current Amateur Model, so many "Experts" think that the NCAA's system perpetuates a type of systemic Racism on Athletes in the 2 Revenue Sports due to it's out dated definition of Amateurism

But don't worry, this Movement will soon be headed to the SEC, majority Black Players won't sit back silently while HCs make $5million to $9million per year with 8 Figure Buyouts to ease their incompetence when they fail , and then be happy with a debt free bachelor's degree

Black Athletes will no longer deal with micro aggressions from whites students in their Athl Depts and on their own Campuses while at the same time literally subsidizing the educations of some of the Racist Students that target them with their subtle Racism & micro aggressions

Arbury, Breanna Taylor (sp?), George Floyd in rapid succession has triggered something that is NOT going to die down anytime soon, and save your breath & Keystrokes, this group won't be sidetracked by the "murder rate in Chicago" or the "out of Wedlock birth rate", or some bullshite "crime Stats"

You see this generation of young people are going to pursue Justice & equality on THEIR TERMS (right or wrong) and not on the Terms of out dated white guys that set up racist systems like the NCAA to begin with

It is only a matter of time before the Players ban together and come for the Money ---- BTW the big money sponsors & advertisers and TV execs already know this is on the way and are prepared for it and will SUPPORT THE MAJORITY BLACK PLAYERS

If you want to create more opportunities for Women get TV Contracts and ask Lifetime & Hallmark to televise Women's Sports and raise their own money, IN THE FREE MARKET just like the Revenue Sports do

You don't create more opportunities for Women by having Blacks raise the Money, then administratively transfer the Money to subsidize the Women's Sports

In a sense, that's modern day sharecropping, just because it's located in a University Environment doesn't make it any less Racist

To summarize, to create more opportunities for Majority white women that play MONEY LOSING SPORTS in College, the money needs to come off the backs of sports that are majority Black

Just like on Wall Street, "you eat what you kill" , Women's Sports aren't killing anything, so in my World they should eat less and eat ONLY after the Revenue Sports get larger stipends (not salaries)

I think I'm being very fair based on the way America's other major Institutions are run

The Athl Depts found a way to pay Gus $7million per year and they don't charge him for Overhead , or Property Plant & Equipment, so why should the Players pay for their Medical when they sustain injuries while playing to RAISE MONEY FOR EVERYONE IN THE ATHL DEPT

In ain't rocket surgery, simply increase the stipend on top of the full scholly in order to make the system more fair

Why are you guys so hell bent on making shite as difficult as possible?
