Sucks that we have no experienced backup, but I hope he finds what he's looking for, and thank him for his efforts at the Capstone.

It's more than about making room. He's a very talented QB and has a chance to make it to the NFL. However, that's not going to happen sitting behind a guy that could be the starter for the next two years. Good luck to him. He's a class guy.

He sure changed his tuned from a few weeks ago, gave off the impression he was staying at least 1 more year.
I guess he wants playing time, and I can't blame him for that...

He had an opportunity but couldn't beat out AJ. Next year he would be a backup and still have two years on the bench unless AJ goes pro early.
Look for Saban to go after a really good QB next year.
