Damn. That guy ripped Newton a new one. What is incredible is that he really wasn't exaggerating that much. If you haven't seen the Gruden camp, you should.

Auburn fans seem to think that anything negative about Auburn is generated by Bama somehow. Actually, it is the whole country that hates AU and your players.

But this is an awful QB draft. Just dreadful.

In terms of pure physical tools, it is an excellent class with Newton, Mallett, Locker and Gabbert all having big arms and excellent size.

If I am a team that absolutely must have a QB who can start for me day 1, I go with Mallett.

The guy couldn't recall a SINGLE PLAY CALL. "Uhh they just told me a number and we would run that play. Simple is fast...yeah yeah that's the ticket."

Cam will be a good NFL QB. I don't know if he will be great or start right away, but IMO he won't be a JR type bust.

Last year on College Football Live before the '10 season, Tyler Wilson was asked to name a play Petrino would potentially call if Wilson had to come in the game for an injured Mallett. Wilson responded: "One of my favorite ones is 'flip the wing right T fly three thirty nine naked right wide delay.'"

Cams future lies in his ability to work hard. He has all of the physical gifts and is a great athlete.

I know you didn't huddle. You still think it's normal that your QB couldn't name a single play. Not one play. That alone would tell me not to draft him if I was an NFL GM.

I really like the Jimmy Clausen reference. Yea, old Jimmy did great in the Gruden interview. Spectacular. But as we found out, my wife is a better QB than him. And they are not paying him to interview.

And here's the name of the play Sam Bradford discussed with Gruden at his QB camp last year:

205 H over

Simplistic name. Number-based.

A hurry up, no huddle offense would change "flip the wing right T fly three thirty nine naked right wide delay" to something like "339 right." Still the same play, though, just easier to call from the sidelines.

The problem with Cam, is that he loves himself a little too much. IMO he could be very good, but just as well, he might end up falling down the wrong path (drugs, cheating, gambling) because he feels he is above everything. Same thing that allowed him to buy a stolen computer, same thing that allowed him to cheat repeatedly during his years at Florida, same thing that allowed him to lie about knowing his daddy was selling him. He never feels he is doing anything wrong. It is like a white collar criminal.

Lots of funnies but I liked this one.

Auburn may not have huddled much, but you did huddle occaisionally. WTF did they talk about in those huddles, how cute the middle linebackers shoes were? I mean come on. I dont care if he was in a huddle or not, plays have names, they had to see them on the sidelines, and you cant tell me that 36 was the extent of it.

Did he never check off at all? Did he not see an obvious blitz coming right in the hole where they were supposed to be running the ball and make ANY kind of adjustment? If not, then he will never make it in the NFL where adjustments are almost on an every play basis.

And he seemed fake as hell in that interview too. Ammunition in the mental chamber of his gun? really? And you could tell that he seriously was proud of himself for coming up with that analogy on the fly too, like it was just a homerun or something. At least I hope he came up with that on the fly, because if that was something he rehearsed, oh lawd.

Except for the fact that, according to Gruden, Cam was the top graduate of Camp Gruden.

The truth is that the vast majority of Auburn fans don't give a flying frick what you "respect".

TRUTH.

Yeah, because we all know the QB who scored 30 passing TD's and 20 rushing TD's with his offense doesn't know any plays.

He sure looked confused out there this year, that's for sure.
