I think Texas and Oklahoma will be a defensive battle in the first half because both QBs are clearly struggling.
But I think Texas will pull away 28-6 just because Texas has more offensive weapons. But ou have got two weeks to adjust the offense and figure out its strengths and so does Texas. It will be fun.

I’d concur. It will be a close defensive first half.
Then Mateer could throw a pick or 2 in the 3rd quarter and Texas pulls away.

Jokes on you. Mateer was told to shite the bed the first 4 games to give yall false confidence in his ability to win. Hes going to start channeling his inner Baker during the bye week. So be prepared for a video of him grabbing his nuts at some cops, and when he takes off running, a cop will hit him. At that point, he will obviously fumble his phone.

If Mateer doesn’t fumble pick 6s, and doesn’t throw pick 6s, maybe we have a chance to keep it close……
I had deluded myself into thinking Mateer wouldn’t play in the 2026 RRR, but last year Arbuckle put him in barely 3 weeks after hand surgery, even though he had Hawkins ready to go…… So

Unless OU's line dramatically improves this week, it could be a massacre. The well documented offensive woes eventually affect the defense, both physically and mentally. It's hard to stay out there and fight series after series when you know your offense couldn't move the ball against The Sisters of the Poor.
But if the team somehow get their heads right, who knows. Maybe a monumental upset is in the making.

It's kind of Crazy that Sark is only 3-2 vs OU. Crazy things happen in this game.

You're assuming the Texas defense and special teams won't add a score or two. We'll see.
