OU softball team won 34-0 today

2 grand slams same inning. OU is already 25 percent of the way in 10 games to the homerun record for the season. I think they are averaging 17 runs a game.

Conference play and just a tad bit better pitching also awaits. We won't keep scoring at this pace.

Winning 4 in a row is a blessing but a curse. That freshman class won title all 4 years. But it means positions were locked down and some players chose other teams to be able to start. Pitcher Jordy Bahl goes to Nebby to help build their program. Nothing but respect for her, she didn’t do it for money she’s from there and wants to be close to home and help the sport in that state. Good reasons and I’m rooting for her.
Patty still has her teams in top echelon in the sport but now there are newcomers. And other good teams have added some players and are now contending.
She is building another young team and pitching is behind where it used to be. We used to have more than one great pitcher and it’s to be determined how they shake out this season. I would never bet against Patty. But the sport is more balanced than before and thats actually a good thing.
I want to see if she can rebuild and get another Natty with it. She’ll be in the hunt but not as dominate as before. Her team will have to work harder for it
