I think this would have been better left to wait until season is over. Every fan is high on their own team before the season and thats what makes CFB fun. But to make “best” claims before the season in a new conference - when its the best conference - is not wise imo.
I admire your enthusiasm. But all you do is give ammo to opposing fans who if we’re not best will lump all OU fans as having said this if it isn’t best.

The thing is......you're going to see just how good you are, or are not.after week 3. You can jump up and down and act like you did in the Big Whatever it was for 3 weeks, then the party ends.
The Viles come to Norman, then you go to Auburn, which ain't your daddy's cannon fodder conference game youre used to., Not at their place.
Then your usual hatefest with the Steers. You'll find out what you're made of.

OUs first 3 games the higher power ranked team they play is Tulane at 62.
They will be 3-0 and I’m sure Arnold will have Heisman stats. I do think they beat Tennessee and Auburn and will be 5-0 going to Red River

No we won't.
If we get off to a good start by winning, you guys will just keep moving the goalpost to the next SEC opponent until we drop a game, and then you'll fill this board with "we told you so! UR not ready!!" posts.
Same for the first time one of our players goes down (like they do every season).
That's how you guys work.

oklahoma's defense is going to be good but pump the breaks on the best in the sec talk. last year, georgia had a down year on defense by their standards and still gave up eight less points per game than your sooners
