That to me is the amazing part. Skip is known as a pitchers coach and this post season has proved it. The way he has prepared his freshmen all season long. To start season only 1 was a freshman, and due to how things unfolded he went with youth during post seasin and its paying off.

This is what they’ve done against some great teams. Was made before final so its 4-0 now.

Nothing is earned yet, have to finish it off to matter.

Are horn fans this dumb ? He literally said all 4 of our wins are from freshman …. what are you spouting about claiming victory already … I swear half of you haven’t graduated kindergarten.

You did this on the MSB about the Thunder. The Sports Gods are reading. Don't get too cocky.

So what are you saying? Y'all gonna have to open up the check book, if you want them staying in Norman.
PS. I hate that about college sports now.

I’ll be honest. First we must win Sun or Mon

Second, its rare to repeat in baseball and we’ll put more money in program and likely retain them. Cord is from Oklahoma so he likely stays. Mercurius came to OK for Skip. Keep or not, its unlikely we have a post season run like this again next year. Baseball is so hard to win titles in.

I’m just going to enjoy this season for now.

Amazing run by OU

Omaha is crazy. I thought OU would be lucky to win a regional and was positive Georgia would win it all.

Yall got hot at the right time

Oklahoma will be in great shape if they can retain those pitchers. LSU couldn’t replace the pitchers we lost from 2025.

It truly is pretty amazing, and bodes well for OU next year.

That said, I hope LSU can steal a couple of them, because we need to upgrade pitching

I’m amazed at how Skip has been able to control the freshman nerves. Even today, Cord had a bad 1st but minimized it at 3 runs. NC didn’t score another run. Skip is just a down to earth coach. Probably reminds players of little league and up baseball.

He never lost faith even when most fans did. Me included, I never saw this run coming. We had a great start to season snd then started losing in the most aggravating ways. I thought the way we finished conf we were done.

A nice short clip of Skip yesterday. Honest and relatable

What a quote

Cord Rager had a shaky start to Game 1 of the CWS. His parents, Chad and Robyn Rager, watched from section 107 of Charles Schwab Field.

“I was as nervous as a long-tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs,” his dad said.

Rager family is from Maypearl, Tx pop 989. Just south of DFW.

Texas A&M should hire OU's baseball coach because that guy is obviously a great coach.
