You realize they're in the same conference and Jalen hurts isn't, right?

OU and WVU play every year...

Is the OU one a grad transfer like Jalen Hurts? If not, situation is even less comparable.

Then why did people bitch when Alabama blocked transfers within the conference and get a rule put in place to allow it wholesale?

Yes.

I also realize how hypocritical it is.

They're blocking him from transferring in conference.

Nothing wrong with this.

People do it all the time.

Who gives a shite? That's always been a weak shite reason to block a transfer.

Yes.

even though Kendall has earned his undergraduate degree at Oklahoma. Kendall could still transfer to West Virginia, but he would have to sit out the upcoming season, leaving him with only one year of eligibility left.

How does that make sense?
I thought you don't have to if you're a graduate transfer?

That shouldnt matter at all, in fact, the SEC passed a rule specifically making sure inter-conference grad transfers CAN'T be blocked...OU is getting bad pub for no reason. Kendall isnt some great QB

Maybe he wasn’t accepted as a graduate transfer? But enrolling for another undergraduate degree?

Must be a Big 12 rule. Cuz they're pussies.

Not accepted into a graduate program at West Virginia? Seems highly unlikely. Can he burn couches? He's in.

Baker walked on at OU so I think this went by different standards as well.

Apparently, OU has even more bitch-arse pussies than the school in Austin:

quote:

The SEC passed a rule last summer saying it would allow graduates to transfer within the conference and be eligible immediately, regardless. Previously, SEC players had to apply for a waiver. The Big 12 has no such rule, a league source confirmed.

Though not common, intraconference transfers do occur. In the Big 12, safety John Bonney left Texas for Texas Tech as a graduate transfer just before the 2018 season started and immediately became a key part in the Red Raiders' secondary, facing off against the Longhorns later in the season.

Yes.

Then he has fulfilled his obligation to Oklahoma and should be able to freely transfer wherever he wants, regardless of conference affiliation.
