OU & Texas football - which loses to Vandy first?

Texas has a losing record against Vandy.

Doesn't make it any less funny that you have a losing record to Vanderbilt.

I have learned a lot in this thread.

But I still think it will end up being Oklahoma. They will be to the SEC what Nebraska is to the big 10.

LSU was winless vs Vandy over the same period they played Texas.

I guarantee NEITHER of them will lose to Vandy 3 times in their first 10 SEC meetings like Mizzou did.

They have this clownboy narrative around here that we're going to become "the new Nerbrasky!".

They can't say why or how, nor do they understand the root cause of "Nerbasky's" troubles, they just need to believe it. Just laugh at them.

All they see is two old Big 8 "midwestern" schools in low population states... and that light goes off in the geographically challenged heads.

But until the state of Texas moves from it's current spot or all the sudden quits producing recruits...the Oklahoma/Nebraska parallels won't be legitimate.

It goes a lot deeper than that. Those mentioning the recruiting differences are spot on, but it also goes back to the 1 gray shirt rule. But the big thing was Tom Osborne. Tom Osborne had every high school team in Nebraska running his system. Every Junior High running his system. Every peewee football program running his system. This meant when the lesser athletes went to play for the university they always had 10-12 years in his system. They ran the option flawlessly and everyone knew exactly what to do in every situation. It was an extreme case of not having the best talent but being perfect with the talent they did have. When Tom left, it all fell apart. They couldn't recruit the talent to compete.
