This is why the portal and NIL are great. Programs like Indiana don’t need 5 stars to win it all. They need good coaches who are great evaluators that find players who fit in their system. Stars be damned.

But they're not all together at a major program with a significantly higher level of depth. It's dispersed alongside many schools. Indiana is so much better because they're physical and have a team of veterans which is just not very normal anymore. Obviously they have really good talent as well with the number 1 pick. But the traits they have would not translate against top tier teams in the past
