That's fine, but in all reality Wisconsin is also not very good.

You do realize they schedule these games years out and there is no way to know how good they will be?

It is sad. They couldn’t even get through the first minute without bringing up Alabama. They are broken beyond repair.

They are the perfect representatives for LSU.

In 16 years, 08 to 23. Alabama opened with a total of 12 power five teams.

Oh and LSU fans loooove Mat Moscona, don't let them tell you any different.

To be fair, from 2002-2019 (Virginia Tech and Wisconsin) LSU only lost just two non-conference games that opened the season or it was the second game. Now, they lost 5 in a row. It breaks their little hearts over there in the bayou.

Mascona is an ignorant dumbass. Alabama dog walked USC 52-6 neutral site opener 2016 in Jalen Hurts first game.

People forget Bama was scheduled to open with USC in Arlington the Covid year 2020 but USC canceled.

It isn't even comparable though. USC sucked in 2016 and didn't have Lincoln Riley. As much of a pussy he is, he isn't a complete shite coach.

I wonder if they'd be willing to bet that the USC that beat LSU ends up lower ranked than the one Alabama beat by nearly 50.

USC finished 10-3 that year and won the Rose Bowl. They finished third in the AP poll.

Yes I know that, but beating the breaks off a shi++y big 10 team in a few weeks is really nothing to get fired up about.

When Bama scheduled these opening big games they won them. Just to clear up the record here.

Penn State as well. You’re wrong in saying they were awful though.

Sounds like they need a life outside of LSU football.

USC finished 2016 ranked #3 in the AP poll

In addition, they had a higher preseason ranking that year than they did this year.

So yeah, they were pretty decent in 2016 despite what you say.

Beautiful lol

Nevermind South Carolina usually plays at least a good G5 if not a P5 to open the season.

Simultaneously wanting to open the season with a nobody while calling programs “pussies” for opening with nobodies is just chefs kiss

I wasn't comparing 2016 Helton USC to 2024 Riley USC. I was talking Moscona saying Alabama doesn't play big teams in openers.

HOWEVER, 2016 USC won the Pac 12 championship and the Rose Bowl and FINISHED #3 in the final AP poll. Is 2024 USC going finish #3 in the country? Very slim chance.
