PP is really good but he is far from special.

While I think it's crazy to compare him to Bo Jackson, etc. He's definitely up there in terms of freak athletes.. and at the end of the season if he keeps it up he'll be one of the greats at CB.

He's definitely top-5 in the "freak athletes" all-time SEC though.

I actually kind of agree with this. Champ Bailey was just as good as Peterson on D when he was at UGA. Not even Spurrier had the balls to throw at him. He played offense too though, and did a damn good job at WR.

You agree that he is much much better than Peterson but then say that Bailey is just as good as Peterson on defense..

Champ Bailey was a badass.

Bailey could only dream about returning punts and kickoffs as well as Peterson.

Yeah...I think > or >> would more accurately represent my thoughts.

I just think Champ Bailey's junior year is something that will never ever be seen again in college football. He could have fairly been considered an All American on offense AND defense. That's just insane.

I for one DO NOT want to see PP on offense. It's not skill positions we are missing. We have an abundance of that.

Patrick Peterson won't have neat the great career Champ had. I'm afraid CJM won't resign him after this year..

So you think PP will make eight or more straight pro bowls, be considered the best cover corner in the NFL for about six years running, and be a first ballet hall of famer?

Sorry, Memphis.

I just think it burns you up when someone tells you the truth. We knows he pretty damn special.. But he will never be a Champ Bailey.
