the only thing I don’t like about these results is that it is continuos..

For example.. if Texas wins the next 5 NC and goes 80-0.. those 80 wins will carryforward through each interval..

Years 1-5 = 80-0
Years 6-10 = 30-30

therefore..
Years 1-10 = 110-30

That heavily weights playoff teams since 2014 because of all the extra games.

Imo a better guide would be to rank each team within a decade or time period.. and then average the results.. idk perhaps the results are the exact same..

I hope people do. Anything to keep the topic on football, which is where it should always be in the SEC.

People can salty downvate all they want but in your team's finance department it's football season 365 days a year.

No one gives a shite about other sports

Look at the viewership for football vs anything, basketball included

I can see why a Mizzou fan might not want to attach weight to historical football success though

I admit that this was not a short list I expected to find UGA on. Well done, Dawgs.

Bama vacated all wins from 05-06 and the first 5 games of 07. The 240 accounts for this. Enjoy your victory I guess. It would be 261 otherwise.

LSU vacated all wins from 2012 through 2016. That's 45 wins.

(I don't believe the list removed vacated wins)

Ole Miss is looking mighty impressive with 32 vacated wins, but are going to have to work a lot harder to get to Cajun country.

Maybe Georgia should invest more in their athletic program so you dont feel so empty for 9 months every year.

- Men’s Basketball is competitive for the first time in over a decade
- Baseball hosted a super regional last year in year 1 of a new coach and had a player sweep all individual awards, expanded the stadium for this season and preseason ranked in the top 10/15
- Softball is ranked per usual, just opened a new indoor training facility
- Gymnastics is in year 1 with Simon Biles coach
- Women’s Tennis is the consensus #1 team in the country
- Men’s tennis will once again be among the ranked squads
- Men’s Golf just saw Harris English and Sepp Straka win back to back PGA Tour events while once again touring the most former players on tour
- Track and Field is in the process of building a brand new stadium and facility off campus and will eventually add an indoor arena as well. Womens team won the 2018 indoor national title, men won the outdoor national title in 2018.

I think we’re doing just fine staying entertained and investing in our programs but thanks for your concern

These numbers are way off. The do not count vacated wins for Alabama, but they do count 4 seasons of vacated wins for LSU.

So if you want to ignore vacated wins, the real numbers are:

240-Alabama
205-LSU

And if you want to count the vacated wins, then the real numbers are:

256-Alabama
242-LSU

Based on the lack of consistency in the OP, I have to believe it's bullshite.

And the OP counted those wins for LSU while they did not count vacated wins for Alabama.

UGA has a bunch of National Championships in sports other than football.

Some of the other programs in the conference just won their first NCs in any sports recently.

No school benefited from Nick Saban more than LSU.

I beg to differ. saban came to Baton Rouge in 2000. Gerry Dinardo won 27 games at LSU from 1995-97. And even though Dinardo did have two losing seasons in 1998 and 1999, many of his players were drafted into the NFL.

saban inherited some of those Dinardo players.
Also, saban lost less than 3 games at LSU only once - 2003.

When next season starts, I recommend most of the SEC just pop in VHS tapes from 10-20 years ago.
