ignoring the obviously gay stuff, why do the guys in the background keep running around
That is the question that boggles the mind.
And for the record there is nothing wrong with being gay. In fact the things Aggies cheerleaders do probably would make even gay folks cringe or at least weird them out.

My father was a yell leader. Elected by the student body. Also served as a pilot in the Air Force before retiring to be a civil engineer. You can not understand the tradition all you want, not care that A&M was an all male military college for 80 years thus cheerleaders never were a thing, even call it super gay. Believe me, he’s heard it all. The fan base thinks differently and it’s typically a more coveted elected position at A&M than student body President.
So laugh if you want, really doesn’t bother Aggie fans. We get the tradition and enjoy the atmosphere it provides.
Congrats on being born in spite of having a gay father.

That is really bizarre but whatever makes them happy.
To each their own I guess.
Their Band is fantastic though... Incredible to watch..
they are one of the few bands I stay to watch halftime when they are playing LSU (Or UGA in Athens where I live)

Then why do people constantly post about it?

They look like they're jacking off.

Clicked on the practice link and learned all I need to know when the guy introduced himself as “Keller Cox”. Most Aggie yell leader name ever.
Probably also his gay porn namesake

Hell, we put more in the stands at midnight for Yell than several SEC schools can put in the stands on Saturdays.
We are also better at that marching music thing than the rest of you "baws".

It's a big tradition for them; I think it's great.
The USC Trojans had all-male yell leaders from 1919 until they were disbanded in 2006. They were the only all-male stunt leaders in the nation.
The USC Song Girls were formed in 1967 and both squads performed side-by-side. After 2006 when the male-squad was disbanded, it became just the USC Song Girls dance squad and a cheerleader squad comprised of both girls and guys.
Good for Texas A&M...keep the tradition alive.
USC Male Yell Leaders
USC Song Girls (yes, they're much prettier to look at!)

One thing I have to say about Texas A&M Cheerleaders
We don’t have cheerleaders.

I think it was the 2nd guy in the video who said it's based off some former guy named "Peanut".

Judging by your statement, it is now obvious as to why Florida calls its teams the GAYTURDS and the last part of your handle is QUEEN.
It all makes sense now.

A&M has great traditions...don't let some of your rivals get under the Aggie skin...it's jealousy and they have to choose "something" about A&M to make fun of. This is all they have.
Every SEC school has MALE CHEERLEADERS, too. However, Texas A&M's are called YELL LEADERS.
Go A&M!
