I despise lsu as much as the next guy. Who doesn’t.

But coach O is great.

Just do what I do when my fiance can't stop talking...nod your head and picture her naked. Pretty sure that is what most men do.

I'll never forget watching O go to the coffee machine in the old coaches offices at Ole Miss, open it up, scoop out a wad of spent grinds and throw them in his bottom lip like a dip. The man is just built different than the rest of us.

A lot of people have their opinion of his time at Ole Miss. One thing everyone wholeheartedly agrees on though is he worked his arse off harder than anyone and he wanted to win more than anyone. That was somewhat his downfall because he had issues delegating, and would run full contact practices the day before and sometimes on the mornings before games.

His players all loved him though

My favorite ED O is when all the LSU fans talked about how much he loved LSU.

Then he gets in an interview laughing about, "they said $17.1 million, and I said which door you want me to leave out of..."

EdO wasn't the crazy one in his family. That would be lil bro that has the PAPERS to prove it.

Where does the Mizzou dislike for LSU come from?

Not geographically close, no historical rivalry, they've played each other less than 5 times.

A better question would be, who doesn’t despise lsu.

Bert at Arkansas had a shot at being an above coach. But he just couldn't dry out until we sh*t canned him. Bert has done well at Illinois but if he had his act together here... ah well.

It's like he was built to coach LSU. A seemingly perfect fit.

The SEC is sorely lacking in the coaching personality department. We used to have the likes of the OBC's snark, Les' syntax and mannerisms, Pat Dye's drunk uncle routine, and Nick's grumpy curmudgeon act. Hell, even Muschamp's psychotic sideline behavior and Houston Nutt's revival evangelist was entertaining. Coach O was a throwback to that era.

Now, outside of the Lane Train, the SEC might as well be the PGA Tour.
