I apologize if deeprig9 did this already. He was doing a weekly thread on YPC when Guice was hurt. For some reason he didn't do a final thread comparing their career YPC.

I wonder why................

Career YPC:
D. Guice- 6.52 (SEC-6.64)

N. Chubb- 6.29 (SEC-5.89)
T. Gurley- 6.44 (SEC-5.94)
S. Michel- 6.12 (SEC-5.80)
H. Walker- 5.29
G. Hearst- 5.95

As you can see, Mr.Guice has a higher career YPC (SEC also)than the top 5 RB's from UGA, EVER. Crazy if you think about it.

Now I know why deeprig9 stopped with the comparisons. Can't say I blame him!

Sony Michel would have been better than all of them if he had the backfield to himself.

It tells you something when Bama fans say Chubb was way better pre-injury.

Thank god he out-statted him. It meant so much when we played State... and Troy... and Bama... and Notre Dame.

Chubb as a freshman was the best freshman running back since Herschel.

Chubb Combined pre injury fresh and soph year

311 attempts for 7.37 YPC

Guice combined fresh and soph year

234 attempts for 7.79 YPC

So exactly why was Chubb better pre-injury

Felix Jones had a career 7.7 ypc.

I'm guessing he's better than Guice by a frickload right?

Side by Side stat comparison, career:

Derrius Guice:

471 carries, 3,074 yards, 6.5 ypc. 32 receptions, 250 yards. Scrimmage: 3,324 yards, 6.6 ypp.

Felix Jones:

396 carries, 2,956 yards, 7.7 ypc. 39 receptions, 383 yards. Scrimmage: 3,339 yards, 7.9 ypp.

Looks like Guice should've picked a school that contends for SEC Championships.

Darren Mcfadden had a 5.8 career YPC. Do you think F. Jones is the better back? You're not that dumb...are you?

Felix Jones was a change of pace back who averaged around 10 carries in his career after teams were too focused or too tired of chasing D-Mac and being run over by P. Hillis.
