LSU is hard to figure out. Legit Defense. Very solid special teams. No identity or rhythm on offense. I wouldn't have a problem with anyone putting UGA and OU ahead of us at this early juncture.

Bama and FSU.... Neither should be that high.
Actually both are playoff contenders and both will contend to win their conference.

24. Notre Dame Fighting Irish (0-2)

That’s fricking gross.

Only 2-loss team in top 25.
Only winless team in top 25.

I hope their fans feel weightless from the fast drop in the polls.

I wouldn’t either. But I don’t have a problem with LSU up there. After today I don’t think Ohio State belongs there. I would move A&M and Oklahoma up higher. Not sure about my Rebs that high. Our defense looked young tonight. Pretty sure in two weeks LSU will score every possession. Arkansas damned near did.

How can they keep LSU ranked at number 3 if that same team has beaten no one worthy. Florida and Clemson are crappy teams. Florida and Clemson are overrated.

It’ll work itself out in the end. Shouldn’t have rankings until mid October anyways. Yea I think Missouri is good. Just too early to get a good gauge.

I love LSU with all of my heart and soul, but the highest they should be ranked is #10. Defense is salty, but the offense is suspect.

Texas looks terrible and should be behind Vandy. Vandy at least has a qb

This might be the best that the conference has ever been from top to bottom.

If we’re talking eye test, I’d swap LSU and UGA.

Drop Texas significantly until Arch proves he can throw, so I’d at least switch them and Oklahoma. Vandy deserves more credit for going into Williams-Brice and whipping USC, they should be top 15.

Switch Tennessee and Bama.

And people wonder why Auburn claimed a team with no losses won the national championship.

It’s largely because the AP is a corrupt organization.

South Carolina has not impressed in any of their 3 games including their blowout loss to Vandy. Not sure why they’d be ranked.
