So what you're saying here is that it took Herschel 344 more carries than Bo to get that extra 956 yards and 6 rushing TDs?

Dude...Walker did all of that...extra carries and nearly 1,000 more yards.. in 3 years. Bo had 4 and STILL didn't do as well as Walker. Both played in run-heavy offenses.

That's what I'm saying. Spin it however you want.

Congrats....Enjoy that SEC West Banner. Where's the Peach Bowl swag? Oh, wait.....I forgot that Stidham got his shite pushed in by a one-armed linebacker.

From an old guy who watched Barry Sanders kill it back in 87. He was the best RB I ever saw (college or pro). Probably the next in line was Earl Campbell who ran so hard his career was cut short.

Being a 20 year season ticket holder of the Cowboys (well my dad was)... Hershel (by that time) never hit the hole hard. He had the most stutter steps behind the LOS that I’ve ever seen. It was infuriating to watch.

Every objective ranking there is has Herschel at the top.

Is yards per carry and rushes per touchdown "objective"?

Every time Bo Jackson rushed the ball, he averaged carrying it 1.3 yards farther than Herschel Walker (6.6 > 5.3).

Bo Jackson scored a rushing TD every 15 carries on average. It took Herschel Walker another 5 carries on average (20) to score a rushing TD.

That's pretty objective, no?

What that really OBJECTIVELY says is that if Bo Jackson hadn't been playing in a triple-option (Wishbone) offense for the first 3 of his 4 years at Auburn, he would have left Herschel Walker in his statistical dust.

As I was informed earlier, it's not supposed to be an NFL-career debate.

Absolute legends.

And remember the smooth, beautiful running of Tony Dorsett at Pitt?

The cowboys were friggen retards with Walker, best tailback ever and they constantly played him as a single set back. Completely wasted their opportunity — somehow Emmit for Moose Johnson though..

Which is why you would make such a ridiculous statement.

He was the best CFB running back I ever saw (would say Barry Sanders but, since he played behind Thurman Thomas for two seasons, he only had one full season)...I wouldn't say he was necessarily the greatest CFB player of all-time, but he would be in the argument...

You mean the first year player that hasn't taken a snap yet in the NFL nor do we know if he'll make the roster? Yea, that one. The one that pushed Stidham's shite in regularly during your Peach Bowl loss. I don't see anything dumb about pointing out a fact. The dumb shite is you guys pretending the game didn't matter. Well, it mattered to UCF. Where he plays...or is attempting to play....now is irrelevant.

Only if Walker was playing for UGA in 1977.

You would have been closer to the correct year if you'd said Travolta was a greaser wearing black leather and trying to score poon off Olivia Newton-John.

Technically it was the OL that got their shite pushed-in by a one-armed LB. I imagine it was because they were creeped out from touching his nub.

I ate the Oh Herschel sandwich at his now closed restaurant in Athens. Even Herschel would have been proud of my ability to run around people, over people, and my stiff arm on the way to bathroom after eating this thing. It was an explosive ending and photo finish, no way I retained any nutrients from that meal

Blame that on Pat Dye. Dooley had enough sense to switch from the Veer to the Power-I as soon as he knew what was about to arrive in Athens.

UGA lost 3 games during the 80-82 seasons...

1980
No loss

1981
Lost 2
Clemson with my favorite QB from Athens, GA (Homer Jordan) - I still hate Clemson.

Pittsburg in the NC game on a 4th down and long hail mary 33 yard TD pass by Dan Marino. Herschel was not on the field.

1982
Lost 1
Penn State by 4 in the NC game featuring QB Todd Blackledge and RB Curt Warner

Walker literally carried the UGA offense for 3 years.
