Even the rednecks were pissed it was on display at the Wally World. My mother's side of the family hails from Sand Mountain. You don't get much more red than that, and they thought it was an inappropriate place to display the Trophy.

Dreamland would have been better.

Strangely enough, Dreamland actually really would have been better.

Now you're talking. At least that would have been unique, and interesting. Sit the trophy in JohnBishops chair and let the folks walk by and get their picture taken.

I wouldn't give a frick if they displayed it at The Waffle Houses around Louisiana. It would eventually end up on campus and THAT'S what counts. Anyone making fun of this would kill to be in your position today.

how can any corporate sponsor make any school that wins the trophy display it any where. Dr Pepper didnt do anything to earn the trophy and they damn sure dont pay the coaches or schools so how does this work? I would have thought the Bryant Museum would have been the place to display.

Dreamland and Bama go together hand in glove. Whenever I think of LSU playing in Tuscaloosa I think trip to Dreamland sometime during the weekend.

Im not embarrassed at all nor do i think any other Bama fans are.I find it amusing that people think its such a big deal.

If they paid us some money then not at all. The REC can always use some extra cash.

Any BBQ joint that doesn't have baked beans and potato salad sucks.

I frick with y'all all in good fun but to make fun of where the trophy was is just stupid. Those crazy arse people would've showed up no matter where the trophy was displayed. It's not because it was at Walmart. That's just the crazy arse fan base.

truthfully, I really do not give a frick where they display(ed) the Trophy.

That's nothing. Ole Miss has 1962 Litkenhous National Championship Trophy on display at the Golden Corral in Batesville.

I think that the Wal Mart tour didn't make any difference in terms of perception. Bama fan perceptions are what they are......people will believe what they want to believe. So unless it was on display at the Downtown Athletic Club and 10,000 Bama fans flew there in business attire to view it, people would maintian their same perceptions; the same fans would look the same way wherever the trophy was.

I don't care if they show it at Bob's barbershop! AS long as it's in Title Town where it BELONGS
