On a scale from 1-10, how embarrassed are you Bama fans...

...that the trophy was displayed at Walmarks?

I'm sitting at 9.

10! A freakin 10!

That was lame. We really didn't help our case on improving an image.

9.5 only because we have all had to go to Wal-mart at least once

Gumps and Wal-Marks go together like Kige and short buses.

Today? I'm at 4.

When I first heard about it I was a 9.5...

My revulsion dropped considerably when I found out it was due to a pre-signed contract with Dr. Pepper's sponsorship and not a decision by Alabama.

It was gonna be at Wal-Mart no matter what, either in Tuscaloosa or Austin.

+1

If it had been a decision by UA I would have been pissed.

0/10. We are a bunch of rednecks. No use in hiding it or being embarrassed by it.

Speak for yourself. There are plenty of us who would have preferred Target to Wal-Mart.

+1.

I can't tell if you are serious or not, but most southern states will never lose their national perception. Arkansas could have 10,000 Billionaires living in the state, and people would still call us rednecks.

But it is just so much more fitting that it be in Bama land. Was it next to a display of Dr Pepper, laundry detergent and toilet paper?

I'm serious. There is no way we will ever be seen as anything else. I don't really care. I actually like most rednecks. They are usually good people.

It was absolutely surrounded by cases of Dr. Pepper. They had stacked diet and regular cases to form an "A" behind the trophy...to act as a photo backdrop. Corporate sponsorship at its worst.
