On a bright note, Hurts is having a November to remember

Much different than last year. We don't beat LSU or Miss St without JH. Much improved. Keeps eyes upfield when abandoning the pocket. Like the progress here.

I'm not sure if he's going to have a NFL career, but he's an awesome college quarterback. He just flat out makes big plays when they are needed.

Hurts has always been good. I don't know why he gets so much heat from yall

Not me, but last November his play did start going downhill. I love the kid, may be the most mentally and physically tough QB we've had.

He is cool under pressure. You can read it in his face that he isn’t nervous, knows what he has to do, and has the confidence to get it done. I really think he’s one of the best in the Saban dynasty.

Stolen from Bama board chattabama...

I don't think there is another qb in college that holds on to the ball as much as him. I guess Saban won't let him throw anything remotely dangerous. You need to run more or have him take off sooner. How many times did he get tackled behind the line of scrimmage?

The last two weeks, a bunch. But we bounce back. It helps when we are 12 for 12 on converting 4th down.

Jalen makes checks at the line and changes plays. He makes smart decisions with the football. 1 TO all year

The kid plays like a fifth-year senior makes good decisions doesn't turn the ball over, he's a hell of a quarterback. But I do find it interesting how some of my Bama friends want to get rid of him for some reason

Well, State was basically sending the house on every play. He makes plays when they need them the most. He's not a great passer, but I'd rather the great passer that didn't run if I was a defense playing against Bama.

The difference is that he is being asked to go out there and win the game. Last year, the coaches (Saban included) asked him not to lose the game. I think it got in his head and made him indecisive.

And yet, some Bama fans criticize him to point of begging for an injury to sit him down. This is not a shot at the entire Bama fan base, but it just shows how stupid some can be.

I guess the LSU game last week and the Miss. State this week are three only 2 games you've ever watched him play.

I think there's only like 3 posters on here that have that attitude.

There are idiots in every fan base and the backup QB is the most popular on any team. For us we have what looks like a golden arm sitting behind him so that makes things even worse.
