I think Texas Tech is the loudest stadium. Those bastards play their freaking music so damn loud you cant hear yourself think.
They have to play the music so loud cause their stadium sucks.
They have their band play while the other team is trying to start their offensive play. I thought that was against the rules but i guess not.

UF is consistently one of the loudest environments without question. Even during down years been showing out lately. There is a lot of things we can get shite on for, having a loud stadium is definitely not one of them.

This is where my fellow LSU fans will come here to bitch about Tiger Stadium not being #1, while also leaving at the middle of the third quarter so they can hit the area bars.

That Omni Turf, along with other decline of our facilities throughout the 80s / early 90s was a result of an administration that ignored and cheaped out on athletics and alienated the alumni base. The irony is the administrator that many blame (Chancellor Babs Uehling) came to Mizzou from... OU. We are still working our way out of that mess 30+ years later. Actually, in my experience (2015 and 2025), it depends on which quarter you're talking about at Neyland. First three quarters: deafening. Last quarter? Noticeably quieter.

I fully admit Tiger Stadium hasn't been itself the last few years under Kelly, but 2007 Florida and 2012 Bama were by far the loudest games I've ever been to at any venue.
When I was at LSU I usually got to sit in the visitor section of every SEC Stadium in the first three rows, lower bowl when we were consistently a top 5 team on the road. I got a pretty good apples to apples comparison from most stadiums in terms of loudness. Outside of LSU, I'd rank it:
1. Florida
2. Auburn
3. Tennessee
UGA/Bama were the next tier and South Carolina wasn't that loud, but was definitely electric.

Yep...an increase in 3dB is doubling of the sound pressure, but perceived "loudness" doubles with a 10dB increase.
