In their ongoing need to turn a profit they have momentarily lost sight or right and wrong.
Personally I think it is a brilliant move. They are getting a helluva coach, probably at a bargain relative to his track record and if it goes well they will be seen as visionaries. If it goes poorly at the end of the day its Ole Miss...it won't be the first time they have embarrassed themselves....

I do find it comical for how much shite Auburn caught from Ole Miss fans for hiring Freeze.........and then they go and do this.

I am saying your player hit a female Tennessee fan in the face after the game. It was caught on camera. saban condoned it. I am saying you would suck his dick if he pulled it out in front of you..........but you are o.k. with all of that.

I never gave you shite. Truth is I wanted to hire him back a few years ago. Buuuuut it wasn’t ever going to happen. As far as hiring Beard...well we know the girlfriend retracted her statements. But I wasn’t there. And we don’t know if this will happen again. But what we do know is institutions now pull the trigger and fire coaches with no due process. We didn’t fire Freeze. He is a heck of a recruiter and coach. We are hoping Beard will help us and not touch his girlfriend.
