Honestly? I liked the bear. This shark is an embarrassment to the entire conference. The bear was unique and made sense considering Black Bears are actually found in the state of mississippi. A shark cant be found within 200 square miles of oxford.

It was only 8 years ago y'all were 2-10 and getting thumped at home by Louisiana Tech. The bear was around then, attendance was low, and fan support was dwindling. Since then, y'all have beaten bama twice, LSU a couple times, 2 NY6 bowls and a Sugar Bowl win. While I agree the athletic department and leadership as a whole there needs to be wiped out, I don't think yall are as bad off as you say.
Basically, just one quality coaching hire (i.e. Freeze without the $tripperz) and y'all could have it turned around.

Didn’t you hear? We only got to keep the bama wins and the non-bcs version of the sugar bowl. Unfortunately the people making the hires are also incompetent so turds are begetting turds. Even under “good” leaders we’d make horrible decisions or execute good ideas horribly.

I honestly don't know where Ole Miss needs to start. Basketball and Baseball seem to be doing alright, so maybe if yall can get Luke out of there this year and find a good coach, the support will come back even if the Chancellor and AD searches are fricked up.
