This rule is terrible and all of college football has to suffer because Ole Miss refuses to play straight up.

Every team held a fake injury in their back pocket. Ole Miss made it their mission to use it after negative play on defense.

Corndogs have zero room to talk. LSU started the fake injury for a free time out maneuver decades ago

The Kiffster was doing that because he was taking a stand against unjust referreeing, we have been told?

One of the worst injuries I have ever seen in all my years watching football.

What team had two players drop at the same time?
I can’t remember

He publicly bitched about all the way back in 2020 or so. So yeah….frick em.

Ole Miss did this to force the rules committee to stop the insanity of fake injuries. They should be applauded

That’s broken logic. “The refs aren’t calling it, so Kiffin used it to expose a flaw that helped win games, even tho it was low class, to stall out offenses, get free injury timeouts, inspire change in the NCAA.”
That’s like congratulating a crack head who took one for the team, smoked the most crack, until it became illegal.

More accurate is this: It was being used heavily against Ole Miss when Kiffin first arrived and his lobbying for a rule against it fell on deaf ears, so he made a mockery of it. Ole Miss faked more injuries in blowouts to really mock it. He even faked one on offense once.
Don't think Ole Miss won a single game because of faking injuries. If you don't like fake injuries, you should be writing Kiffin a thank you letter.

Stoops and Kentucky was one of the biggest offenders of the fake injury.
I wish they would have thought a little more out of the box. A player goes out due to injury and he has to stay out until the ball changes hands or a time out is used. If siad player comes in with out the above statements it is a 15 yard unsportmen like penalty. In close games no coach is going to risk losing any decent player for a whole series.

This goes over everyone's head. Kiffin runs a fast offense and fake injuries slowed it down significantly. He bitched about it publicly after it happened against his team in 2020 multiple times. After that he figured he may as well abuse it. It being outlawed now only helps OM's offense.
