No matter their recent string of success, being nearly a touchdown underdog at Memphis is just unacceptable. Nothing like being drunk for an 11 AM kickoff in 100 degree heat watching your team get skull drug by a Group of Five runt.

You can thank this guy:

for hiring this guy after a 5 month national head coaching search:

That would do us a huge favor in getting rid of Hodor.

Been there, brother. I vividly remember dreading having to play Troy. This too shall pass

Don’t forget your tetanus shots. A friend of mine and her husband were attacked by a raccoon in the upper level at Liberty Bowl Stadium.

Ole Miss has a legitimate shot of a 2-10 showing. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and say they'll get it done against SELA. New Mexico State rolls into town in early November but I wouldn't take them lightly. Those boys from Las Cruces will be focused.

I don't think anyone will have to be in the upper levels for this game

You're right, a bit of a stretch. That 52-41 victory will be somewhat satisfying

At least we got a late afternoon game, nice weather, no humidity, and weed gummies when we lost at Colorado State.

This^^ MSU needs to schedule Colorado games so I can experience edibles at altitude while watching college football

Going to a game stoned out of your mind isn't all that great, IMO.

You should be thanking Hugh Freeze for the sanctions. That’s why Ole Miss will drop from a perpetual 5-6 win program to 3-4.

Let's not pretend that Memphis has not always given both Mississippi Sec schools a run for their money...heck they give UT a run as well.

Memphis has players.

Luke may or not be a good coach but it's not his fault - your school is under sanctions, or has been and that makes it tough.

if you can get a new coach now, that's fine, but I wouldn't trash Luke. of course he knew what he was getting himself into.

still, I dont' get the hatred under these circumstances.

Agreed. Freeze and Bjork crippled the program

Liberty Bowl first week will melt your face. That place is a concrete jungle. they do serve beer that is relatively cheap and comes in big cups so you got that going for you. Beer showers maybe if you guys score?
